I would like a promo code please. I realize I'm asking for something for free so I'll try to make my request something more substantial. I actually kinda like all the "simulator" games on the appstore (the actual simulator games, not the goat simulator ripoffs). The idea of an open world animal simulation game appeals to me, even ones more "game-ified" like Tokyo Jungle on PS3. However, most "animal simulator" games in the appstore are shoddily made or outright scams. All of them I could find will have screenshots that seem taken from PC specs and look nothing like even the art assets used in the game. The best ones I could find are the $1 ones from Gluten Free Games as they contain no ads and they at least seem to kind of care about the contents of the games. Even then, the level of polish or detail in them is definitely lacking and they seem content to release games with numerous bugs or glitches. Their most recent release has the most features of any of their games, but is also outright broken on certain graphics settings and crashes frequently and randomly, leaving me as a bit of a fan of theirs feeling somewhat betrayed. So you see, I feel the "live the life of an animal for real" market of games is one that is both inundated with choice but also severely lacking in quality, especially with most apps being outright scams targeted towards children who don't know any better (if the children Let's Playing these games on youtube are to be believed). I still feel there is room in the market for high quality games like Chase & Hunt advertises itself as, but the biggest hurdle it must face is a market flooded with inferior products that are A) Significantly cheaper and B) Have equally impressive albeit doctored and faked preview screenshots. The audience for these games is potentially quite wide, but as far as I can tell from youtube it seems that younger children are the ones that actively seek out these sorts of games, and the barrier for entry for children is much higher when faced with a comparatively more expensive game without the word "Simulator" in the title (PS: don't add simulator in the title, that probably would do more harm than good at this point). So that's my request for a promo code. I love these kinds of games where you play as an animal and just be that animal, but the current climate for that market of games is one that has broken my trust and faith. And, um, I don't have that much money left in my iTunes account right now.
