I wish I could upload a video in YouTube. Or even be able to access YouTube. It is blocked here.

Ummm...what? How do you survive?

 

I'm visiting some family members in China. The bad thing is that China blocks websites like YouTube, Twitter, and BlogSpot.

 

It's a good thing I'm just visiting here. It's hard to survive without YouTube. lol

 

I remember the first time I tried uploading a video........wait, it never happened.

 

Chinese government blocks all major foreign sites that involves video sharing, blogs, or forums that has the potential of transmitting "negative information about the communist government and/or potential of creating social unrest". In other words they are suspicious someone might upload an anti-communist video on youtube and millions in China will watch it and attack the government buildings or something. It's quite annoying really.
But fortunately youtube isn't the only video sharing site out there you know. Tudou, the Chinese version of youtube, is just as good if not better (as it offers Chinese, Japanese, Korean as well as English titles).

 

So if there's tudou(and its better), why isn't there youtube?

 

Well, I can't see any video previews for iPhone games.

I think cause people already posted some videos about the Communist stuff on YouTube and China doesn't like that. I'm not sure.
