i'm curious about this game. watched the trailer, like it. reminds me of 'the cannon', 'ragdoll blast' and 'pinball blast'. demo is quite fun, definitely a nice mix of the above. although I keep wishing these types of games, well, especially the likes of this and 'the cannon' would allow the shells to blow up some of the environment. basically being able to destory some of the structures, somewhat like in those artillery games. the physics in this game have a slightly different 'feel' than the ones above (they each have a different feel though, so no biggy). would be nice if there was a button to light the fuse of a shell mid flight, for some timing games, not sure if that would change the scope of the game though. in any case, if one likes the above mentioned games, one would more than likely like this one as well. not a review, just some thoughts.
This is a fun game (the lite version). The controls work fine, physics are decent, sounds are good. Online leaderboards are present (local, world). I only have a couple suggestions for the game... 1. Allow the player to point and aim before firing. 2. Add a help menu to explain everything in the game. With those 2 additions this game will be a 5/5. Right now its still a great game. I'd like to try the full version.
Not to rob freedog of his suggestion, but I would like to second the idea of aiming before firing. That was one issue I had with the lite version of the game. Other than that, I enjoyed the lite how it was.
i would suggest to have different kind of weapons, this will make the game more interesting. also the gameplay seems a bit slower, if you could make it a little faster, it would be awesome to try it with the full version on hand. edit: how bout bazooka and grenade for alternative weapons?
i played the lite version and this is what i had to say. i found the game a lot of fun and although there were similarities to ragdoll blaster, it was not the same! there was still a bit of that puzzle factor and although the graphis werent doodle style, i still enjoyed the sprites for the enemies and bombs as well as the backgrounds. the physics were realistic enough and sound effects were nice too. i think there should however maybe be an option to show the flight path of where the bomb will land and maybe a mode where when the men are hit by a bomb, they dont roll away to add a bit more variety. otherwise, this is a nice fun game to pass the time that although has its similarities with ragdoll blaster, is a different and equally entertaining game!
