My Bargain bin has its last discounts showing for Sept, 3. And while PandoraBox is showing up discounts that are recent - the last new software is also showing Sept 3. Anyone else that uses this software having these same problems? I have deleted and reinstalled, and same thing occuring. On Bargain Bin I have all the push on (even though I did not need to do that before). Pandora Box really does not have any options to speak of... Thanks for anyones help. Otherwise will contact that devs. Thanks.
to be honest since the last appsniper update i've gone back to that ! and it works like it did orriginally ...ie brilliantly
Www.appshopper.com nuff said. But yeah both of them are having some problems. And I don't think even appsniper is doing all that good either. Sometimes it shows the updates as soon as appshopper and sometimes it takes hours to show the updates compared to appshopper.
I find those apps to generally be more up to date than appshopper. Also they don't require as much horsepower when I'm out of wifi.
When was it updated?... Man I have had waaay too much trouble with appsniper I don't think I could ever go back even IF it's working now...
BargainBin not working for me either. I don't want to swap to anything else, AppSniper is fugly and I'm not paying for something I once had for free.
To stay on topic ya, been having lots of issues with BB lately. No push notification, really late updates. If it wasn't for the game forum I would have missed out on a few games already. I've tried to uninstall and reinstall, tried reboots, tried cycling the push on and off and nothing. Been using appshopper as a back up but as It was already said these apps are way quicker and easier to use. Maybe I'll try sniper...
I agree BB is a good looking app and if it proves to be reliable then it'll be great. It worked fine for the first couple weeks of it's life on my 3GS then started to act funny. If it had the price history for given apps that would be a bonus too. I think appshopper should put out a app...
I've been using it for about a month now and this was the first instance I'd seen of it not working, but all is well now I don't often need to know the history other than when I'm participating on this forum and I've got Firefox set up to quickly search AppShopper anyway so it's alright for me.
I would say at least 4 times within the last few weeks that it didn't give a push or even a badge. When I opened up BB It showed the price met app then the badge after I closed it. I wish it worked perfectly, but we'll see.
PandoraBox has been working fine for me. I've had quite a few snipes pop for me, over the last few days, actually. No complaints whatsoever.
Is PandoraBox showing new apps for you as well? It is showing discounted ones for me but the new apps are 2 days old.
all my new apps are in the "before yesterday" category so no, nothing fresh. How about appminer, seems better than PB and close to the same as BB...
AppMiner is my app of choice lately. It's very well thought out and has a better search. I think it is currently better than Appsniper and Pandora as far as features and reliability. IMO
