For the last month or so, certain updates for my ios apps seem to have the misfortune of being hosted on a server hooked up to a 2600 baud modem. Last week it took me 5 hours to update Squids Wild West. Tonight its going to take more than 80 hours to update Ravenmark. I can update some apps just fine, right now. They could be bigger in size, smaller, multiple downloads at the same time; they update just fine. It just seems that now and then I really luck out and a particular update will adamantly insist its only going to download from a specific, duct taped dinosaur of a server. It doesn't matter how many times I retry. It seems like this is becoming more frequent, too.
