SINCE WRITING THIS I HAVE SOLVED THE PROBLEM SO NO NEED TO REPLY: )

    Hello everyone,

Can anyone here solve my problem. I am trying to connect my iPod Touch to my home wifi. At the moment I get a signal on my iPod but accessing Safari and so on doesn't work.

I think the problem lies in the fact that I have the usual Alice (German internet service provider) set-up. 2 black boxes. The Modem (SIEMENS ADSL C2-101-I) and a Bridge (SIEMENS WLAN Bridge W-011).

I have a macbook laptop as my only computer.

I think I need to replace 1 or both of these boxes with a DSL Wireless Router (with Modem?) in order to get my iPod Touch to work.

    My questions are:

    1) Can anyone confirm that this is the right thing to do?
    2) Is it better to get a DSL Wireless Router with or without the modem integrated?
    3) Does anyone recommend a particular brand? I heard the Linksys WRT54GL is a good one.
    4) Am I going to cock up my existing internet setup if I attempt to mess around with what I have, and then have to call the Alice technical team at 84 cents a minute???

    Thanks in advance: )
