As I've got 3 accounts to which I usually use to purchase my stuff on iTunes. Before these past few updates, I used to be able to switch between accounts fairly easily on my iPad to purchase/update certain apps. The prompts for the password of that secondary account that was enabled at that time do pop up. However, ever since I updated my iOS to 4.3-ish, when I go into the appstore app to try and update certain apps that I have purchased from my other accounts, the prompt for the password of my main account keeps popping up, instead of the secondary account to which that game was purchased from. Does anyone else seem to have the same problem as me? If no one else does, then I shall opt to restore factory settings and try again. But, please do help me try to login into your secondary account on your iDevice and try to update/purchase apps using that account and see for which account does the appstore prompt you to key your password in for. For me, I always get the prompt for me to key in my main account.. weird. Kinda irritated that I have to head all the way home just to update certain apps just because I need to use iTunes on my main computer to log in to those accounts to update/purchase stuff.
Are you trying to update them from the "Update" tab? I had a problem with two accounts when I was using that new feature that auto detects if you own the app or not, it will say "Install" or "Update" where the price usually goes, like on the Top 25 charts. But if I am on the "Updates" tab at the bottom and hit "Update All" I will get the prompt for all the correct accounts to update each app that are purchased from different accounts.
Oh okay, yeah, that might be it! As I was hitting the update button within the apps page after checking if the update was worth my mobile data! I shall try that "Update All" button within the Updates tab for the future updates and fill you in if it works! Thank you!
