    Hey guys,

Does anyone here use Pro Tools? Has anyone used Pro Tools M-Powered 8 yet? Is it as awesome as it sounds? I used Pro Tools for Mac in college when I was taking Audio Recording/Sound Engineering classes and my recording guy for our band uses Pro Tools for Mac to record us and I have dabbled around with the production and it's super smooth and comfortable to use. I just wondered if M-Powered 8 is awesome since I will be using it on the PC with my M-Audio MIDI keyboard and other instruments.

I am really thinking about picking it up, for $299.95 Pro Tools is I am sure worth it, I just wondered if anyone here could give me an extra push in the direction of getting it. I am fickle lol ^.^

Yeah? It is any different from Pro Tools on Mac? Have you dabbled with the Virtual Drum Machine? I don't have electric drums atm so I will have to use a drum machine. Does the MIDI editor rock?

Nah I'd be getting the Pro Tools M-Powered 8 program for PC. I don't unfortunately own a Mac and buying a $300 Pro Tools program is a sh!tload cheaper than buying a new Mac pewtie... lol

    Recently bought Logic Express.

I have worked with people on Pro-Tools sessions before, and never really got into the software side of it. I upgraded to Logic Express as it was the right price and 100% functional for my needs right now (live tracking of a trio, overdubbing sessions and mixing).

The virtual instruments and interface are standouts for me right now though it is taking some time to get used to the full functionality of it - but I learn something new every time I work with it. :)
