I did have one question... is there a way to check your lineup and make changes prior to a game? I am a Jets fan for example and I am not even sure Sam Darnold is on their roster and he's our starting QB Mainly just wondering can view/make changes to our roster and start who we want to
Not really, unfortunately. Reworking the whole roster logic (and how it ties to game, season, and career stats) is one of my top priorities next year, along with fully customizable leagues and multiplayer (and a lot of "medium" sized features, I hope!).
Yeah, I'm hoping that eventually the community will do that kind of thing quite often. Glad you're enjoying the game!
My backlog is insane, I‘ve just now had some time to play around with this and so far I love it. Again a contender for iOS game of the year imo. I know it doesn‘t matter gameplay wise but just the fact I can add images of the real teams makes this game a great update over the previous one. Hope I‘ll have some time to really delve deeper soon. One thing though: Is there any chance of having passer rating automatically calculated and displayed on the stat sheet?
Some nice to have things.... Game/Year records, be good to see these stats. As you know i love playing as as 'GM' (sim the games, draft players/cut/re-arrange etc). I'm currently in Season 197 ! Love the stats it produces and checking my all time players and seeing their year by year stats One last thing though ! Please please change the passing to Att / Comp (not Comp / Att) for any passing screens as thats the way the NFL do it
Can you give me specific examples? I'm always happy to add more stats! Cool, glad to hear it! And dang, I thought I'd fixed all the stats screens, I'll have to add that to my list - thank you.
Thank you! On the passer rating, yes, I need to do that. I do it on leaders, completely forgot to do it on regular passing stats screens. Thank you!
Some examples ... Most yards passing - game/season Most yards rushing - game/season Ideally by team and by player. The career stats are great but single game and single season would be brilliant. Say top 25 rushing performances in a game or a season etc. Pro football reference have a whole huge load of stats where you could get ideas But to see if my player breaks the single game rushing record etc or has the record for most TDS in a game etc would be great.
Not sure I follow. Are you saying that for a particular season, rank QBs not just season passing yards, but also most passing yards in a game during that season? Same for rushing, etc? Thanks for helping me out!
Similar to the career leaders it’ll be a page showing single game records or single season records like most NFL sites Be great to see say top 5 rushing performances in a game regular season etc
Thanks, that helps a lot! Sounds great! BTW, if you have an example link, that would help, too, but I think I can do what you're asking. I need to find a good way to group buttons and add more info on the career home screen. But maybe this can just fall under leaders. Thanks again!
Here’s an example of single season records for passing... https://www.pro-football-reference.com/leaders/pass_yds_single_season.htm Also a wrap up of the week with the rushing/passing leaders for each team like this .... https://www.pro-football-reference.com/years/2018/week_7.htm If I click on a team it would be great to click on team records - season or game So it might show Too 10 rushing performances by game for Oakland.... 1) Marcus Allen 20 for 170 yds Wk 4 2028 2) Bo Jackson 16 for 189 yds Wk 7 2008 Etc Also records per season for each team. Eg top 10 receiving years by team So again it would show up to the top 10 receiving seasons for Oakland Also a records page would be great A list of things like Most rushing yards per game. Most passing yards per game. Most passing yd’s per game or most sacks per game (individual or team) Be amazing to have all these stats !
Thanks!! That sounds excellent, and very doable! Hey, I’d also like to improve the career screen, and also separate out Player History into its own screen. Right now, you click on team history and then view that team’s players. If you have any suggestions, let me know! Thanks again, Kerry
In case anyone's interested, a fellow on Steam has created a great league of some of the past Super Bowl winners - pretty cool seeing Bob Griese in there, along with Troy Aikman! I HAVE to make the league bigger next year, though - I want a league with *all* past Super Bowl winners. [OOPS - now posting the correct url!] https://drive.google.com/file/d/196dXmSwvtUNgaJgkGSP4cFpjqR5tsG9A/view Teams included: NFC EAST 1992 Cowboys 1986 Giants 1991 Redskins 2017 Eagles NORTH 1985 Bears 1991 Lions 1969 Vikings 1996 Packers SOUTH 1998 Falcons 2009 Saints 2002 Buccaneers 2015 Panthers WEST 1989 49ers 1999 Rams 2013 Seahawks 2008 Cardinals AFC EAST 2004 Patriots 1968 Jets 1990 Bills 1972 Dolphins NORTH 1978 Steelers 2000 Ravens 1988 Bengals 1986 Browns SOUTH 2006 Colts 1999 Jaguars 1999 Titans 2012 Texans WEST 1998 Broncos 1976 Raiders 1969 Chiefs 1994 Chargers
Can you point me to the post that explains how I import those files into the game? Do I do it through iTunes (which I hate) or is there another way? I'd love to try this.
Honestly, this thread has great info. I like using the built-in Files app on your iphone/ipad. You can point it to your dropbox, cloud, etc, and it's much friendlier than iTunes. I hope I can find an easier approach next year, maybe something where you enter a url, and I automatically fetch a file (maybe a zip file, if images).
If you have Pro Strategy Football 2019 and are an older fan, you HAVE to download this league and image set! I'm coaching the '77 Cowboys against the '75 Steelers, and it's a great match! Be sure to load his image set, too *after* you load the league. https://drive.google.com/open?id=1wnX8HVRuMehmbE6s7FsrJxDWLR8LvWeW
Just saw that the 2020 version was released with loads of new features https://apps.apple.com/nl/app/pro-strategy-football-2020/id1460386659
