Just because you don't care doesn't mean it's right to do. Same thing can be said about anything, eg. music piracy. "I couldn't careless if I'm breaking any agreement. If I do need I can just delete it and they will never, ever.. ever know." He did and he's proud of it. He thinks he can right a wrong just because he doesn't care.
i remember i saw a customized x2 football 2009 it was customized into PES LOL with jailbreaking, yes it is technically illegal because of the"agreement" but it's personally legal for me,jailbreaking makes the iDevices a lot greater Apple and jailbreaking community should just cooperate to fight piracy rejected devs run to cydia store but piracy is still an issue in cydia
and just because some people care, does it mean its wrong to do? no. its not wrong, and some people can say its not right. its a matter of opinion really big, big, BIG difference pirating and jailbreaking are completely different things. the ONLY relationship they have is jailbreaking allows piracy to happen. thats all, thats it. look, you can think its 'wrong' all you want, but dont go trying to make it a fact. number 1 FACT is its legal in every way, shape and form saying its wrong, ok fair enough your opinion. but dont try and force that on anyone seeing as its personal morals anyways, enough of this. PES talk now
Me? against. Re PES, as I said, I think the framerate might not be too fluid on anything less than 3GS. C'mon Apple unleash the 4G!!
Jailbreaking isn't illegal, it's just breaking an agreement (which isn't against the law). Steve is against it purely because customizing the iPhone OS slows down the RAM/CPU power or whatever, and they want their prodcuts to run smoothly (understandably). Either way, Jailbreaking isn't good nor bad, it's just a path that you can choose to take. What I don't get is why Playn asked is they could make their game in a certain way for JB'ers. Clearly there are more un-jailbroken people than there are jailbroken.
oh lol i didnt mean like full change their directorys, file structure and all. just meant to have the files in traditional formats ex. png
In traditional formats I'm sure they'll do without request, but even with a request, they wouldn't do something special to allow a game to be modded. If they wanted it modded, they would include some sort of customizing feature.
I have been in the army, I am not getting scared that easily In any case I guess you guys don't expect me to answer on this in official function. Asked for a personal opinion: I am liberal and jails do not make me feel comfortable. At the same time I value property rights and both myself and a division of almost 20 people pay their monthly bills from succesfully monetizing the work we're doing... apart from this: new screenshots and blogpost here: http://uk.games.konami-europe.com/blog.do#blog-entry-359
Omg!!! i can say from now this will be the best soccer game for iphone really guys i dont belive that you made it ,correct color and t-shirt and sponsor and logo. And have all licensed clubs ,this will be so cool
lol, we only have 2 confirmed licensed clubs, but maybe Konami can clear up if its all or just some graphics look fair alright so far, better then FIFA10 but not quite up to X2F2010.. yet (mainly referring to the graphics we see from the game play camera view)
Looks cool. BTW, when you were talking about the button control mode, are you guys using a virtual joystick? Because D-Pad's on the iphone should be avoided at all cost.
Reg licenses: we will be comparable to the PSP. Reg graphics: wait until you see the animations. There are about 100 animations for player and goalkeepers in the game. reg the contorl questions: please check the explanations in the other blog posts, you can find answers and more there. In short: we have both vpad and no vpad.
Hey, nice to see some update!! 1. The grass looks rather plain to be honest. It feels rather flat and like Real Football 2008. If you see FIFA 10 (and later X2 Football 2010 as well), they put some lighting effects on the grass to give that cinematic feel. It's not dynamic lighting of course, just a plain texture with flattened highlight and shadow, but it adds real depth to the field. However, if that means sacrificing the performance then by all mean forget it. Everyone would prefer fluid framerate over cinematic grass 2. That said, the player model looks awesome and the animation (judging by the freezed movement) looks realistic. How does it perform on older devices like iPhone 3G? Does the framerate stutter? 3. Please make the AI at least as smart as the one in PES 4 or 6. In all football games on iPhone so far, the AI, while challenging, is rather predictable and just not enjoyable to play with. If anything, I feel the challenge comes from the controls. I used to play PES on PS2 on hardest difficulty, and compared to that the AI is a joke. It's not a matter of just being tough to beat, it's a matter of playing well against us. 4. Please also provide some kind of assist when we try to cross the ball or do through pass. Due to the lack of physical buttons, it's harder to pull off those at the exact time and with exact power, so please make our team mates slightly smarter so they can still be in position to head the ball or volley it or something. In X2, even when I do manage to cross the ball accurately, my team mates are often not in position. I was like 'hey, the console PES AI would've headed that in!' That's enough 'please' for now, I won't go on as it's pointless without trying the game first, who knows you've implemented all those One question though, will it be released in June? or submitted in June? Rest assured I'll buy it as soon as it pops up on Appstore
