Thanks for answering, great to hear all that!! I'm especially happy with your answer re hardcore controls for maximum control for advanced players and quality threshold control.

    A few more questions:
    1. Can we edit our players' name / attributes?
    2. Can we save replays? Can we upload them to youtube?
    3. Does it have stats page? eg. Total matches played, total goals conceded, win ratio, etc.

    Early June.

The controls seem a bit worrying, a 'tapscreen' control scheme? I hope that works out well. :)

i have one big suggestion, at least for people like me who like to mod graphics

could you make the emblems, player kits, badges etc. easily moddable so i can make some official emblems for the teams that have fake ones? that be great :) i know you allow stuff like this for the console versions, so on the iPhone it be great to have

They said there'll be a traditional virtual buttons option as well for hardcore gamers.

why wouldnt they? its nothing illegal
besides, they like giving their customers the option to customize their games graphics so why should it be any different on the iPhone? even if it is limited to JB'ers its better then nothing

Ummm... it's actually illegal. Well, I don't think it's a crime or anything but when buying your iPhone / signing up to iTunes or something, we click Agree not to do that, it's in the agreement if you actually read it. Thus, jailbreaking is wrong. It has been discussed to death and I forget all the exact terms but I'm sure if you really want to find out about it you can. Just get prepared to dig some old threads.

That said, I don't care if you jailbreak your iphone or anything, but just wanting to let you know that jailbreaking in itself (even without pirating apps) is not a holy thing to do.

Do you even buy games? Or do you just download them illegally?

    one word: false
    ToS is not the law.
Steve Jobs may say it as much as he wants but nothing about jailbreaking is illegal or even 'wrong'
whats so wrong about having complete access to everything you paid for? im paying over $1000 for my Iphone so i expect to get the most out of it that i can, its my right and its my privilege.

irrelevant but yes, i buy my games

just because piracy can come from JBing, doesnt mean all Jbers are bad and anything to do with JBing should be disallowed. personally i think PES will get more sales if its customizable, its a reason why it sells on consoles so it should be no different for iDevice

when i saw that X2F2010 was easily customizable i was extremely excited, it be great to see if PES is too

I'm pretty sure that if developers want their games to be customisable, they would include an option to do so within their games.

You may say it as much as you want but you're still breaking the agreement you signed or 'Agree'-ed.

And if Steve Jobs wanted Jailbreaking, he would have made all iPhones customisable. And he didn't, did he?

So you're admitting that you broke a legal agreement?

Just saw the screenshots again and realised something: the graphics look too good to expect any fluid framerate on anything lower than iPhone 3GS..
