So I've officially finished all levels and collected all keys. Am I right in assuming the keys don't actually do anything but open the prison cells doors from the main menu? I was really hoping there'd be some hidden levels. Simply cause this is one of the best platformers I've played in a looong time on iOS
Hard to say when exactly - we never made MFI controllers support before. Hopefully it won't be an impossible thing to do
If you have been on the fence about this game I would urge you to take the plunge and purchase. Fantastic game with great level design making for many ah-ha moments. I am still stuck on level 27 but enjoying it for certain!
and, of course... after just posting that, I solved level 19 with key... that was brutal. Took me about 50 tries. =)
I've done the same thing a few times too. I'm now on 28 trying to time the lift for the running man to hit it just right. (At least I think I'm supposed to be doing that lol).
Next week we will be pushing first update for a review. What's coming: - reset button (next to pause button) - game will not exit immediately on suspend anymore (like it's happening right now) - weapons animation (now it's static whenever you stand, walk or jump - and it doesn't feel right ) - camera bug fix - helmet collision fix
Sweet! BTW, you are a level design guru! Hoping this game gets some new levels for iap or a level editor for iap.. For what it's worth I liked being thrown in the deep end early on in the game but may draw more players in if had a handful of levels at beginning to introduce some of the elements over an arc. I'm in process of getting a few more keys I passed up in earlier levels and once I do I can hopefully tackle level 30!
I would love to see a way to skip a level. I understand that the game is supposed to present a challenge, but being stuck means you cannot progress any further (or end of game). Maybe this could be what the keys are used for? Or make this option an IAP?
I believe keys are needed to complete last level. I am still missing a few keys and last level does not present me with option to beat the heli. From what I have seen elsewhere, if you acquire all keys then it looks like you will get a weapon in final level. On key collection, if I was just starting the game I would make sure to get the keys as I was playing through. Just my opinion.
Question, is it just me or are others having issues with the jet pack being inconsistent? Sometime it works and sometimes it doesn't. Usually when I am trying to use a second thrust while in the air. It's hit or miss for me.
No, you're not the only one. While i had no problems in level 27 (but before), level 28 suffers again, massively. I'm still missing three keys this far, but i'll replay those levels later, once (if) i beat the game.
You right - same here. Sometimes it doesn't work - but it looks like a mobile version problem only - on PC/Linux it always works ... We will look at it. Thanks
