I think the biggest worries right now are framerate and controls -- and in fact, the two are very much related. I think at this point it's clear that Gameloft can port a game without making it into a "Gameloft" game, so I just find that concern unfounded. That doesn't mean that they couldn't still muck this up. The PSP version of PoP:WW is not great (in fact, it got a 6.7 general critics score), and I think it's a bit delusional to hope that this port will be "perfect" on a platform that is 1) less powerful than the original (PS2), and 2) lacks the physical controls the game was designed for. Personally, I'm cautiously optimistic.
Firstly, that teaser is for PoP: The forgotten sands (iPhone / iPod touch side scrolling platformer) wich is being released later this year by gameloft ( seen a longer version of that vid showing some gameplay of forgotten sands for iPod touch) Secondly, I've been doing my research and PoP:WW is a full ps2 port! Can't wait! Probably going to insta-buy this one!

I think this can be the biggest iPhone game ever In terms of file size. I hope they include every cutscene. I hope this does not dissapoint since I'm not interested in HOS 2.
Yeah, it will probably be pretty big. I have about 1 GB reserved for this game, hopefully it won't require more (I'd laugh it only needs 50mb or so).
My biggest worry? "Hey, Kaileena, I think you're going DOOOOWN." "Oh Prince. Nice to see you "DROP" in. MUHEHEHEHEHEHE!" "Hey, ever since you killed my older brother, you will pay for what you've done! I fight for my family and my PEEPULE!" ...they can't do that, though...can they?
Actually... Someone was just trying to be funny and they put gameplay of the PSP game at the end of Gameloft's trailer. They already varified it's warrior within that they're porting.
I started talking about the arrow,i didnt meant the typical arrow guiding you like a compass,but dou you see the yellow thing in the screenshots i mentioned,in one it is in the distance,but in the other you can see it clearly. And btw whoever said the game is not linear...lol,i mean you can do very little free roaming in the fortress but thats about it,i beat it a lot of times and as "you cannot change your fate" you cannot change your path either
to be honest i wouldn't say your opinion is wrong because it's an OPINION. If you believe something to be true then more power to you. And your correct, not all opinions are right or valid, but they are opinions and not facts; therefore you cant attribute the words "right" or "valid" to them.
I didn't mean that it wasn't linear as in having more than one ending. I meant that once you reach the core area of the fortress, you can go in several directions and complete tasks in the order of your choosing (and I know this because I've also beaten the game several times, both on the PS2 and the PSP). I still don't know what "directional object" you're talking about.
Well in my OPINION you are terribly boring just like your reviews and if you are here to argue about your opinion about giving an opinion I think you should take it to the lounge instead.
