Hopefully these screenshots haven't been posted before. They look to be photos of the game on a device rather than screen captures, but they still look very impressive. I'd like to see how that water effect looks in motion, since it looks good on screenshots, but I doubt Gameloft actually wrote water displacement shaders for a port so probably won't be quite as impressive when playing.

Those screens look exactly like the ps version I played a few years back. Is it the same sands of time from before?

If that's true then I'm going to need another iTunes card, any news on what each title will cost $?

It's a PlayStation 2 Prince of Persia game, I think it's Warrior Within. Two Thrones was the first of the Prince of Persia PS2 trilogy, though I think they skipped that since Two Thrones was ported to the PSP and Wii around a year or two ago, so gamers have already had a lot of chances to play Two Thrones. I'm looking forward to this, since I really liked Two Thrones on the PSP.

Reportedly, it's a full port from the console version (probably PS2) of Prince of Persia: Warrior Within.

EDIT: I believe the justification for going Warrior Within first is that the Prince in this version looks more like the Prince in the upcoming The Sands of Time movie, the red sash mainly, than the actual original The Sands of Time version.

There's a portable (PSP) version of WW already, which is probably what they actually ported to the iPhone. It also sold better than the (superior) first game.

But yes, as it has already been confirmed, this is a port of the full Warrior Within (called Revelations I think on the PSP).

Two thrones is actually the last of the PS2 Prince of Persia trilogy. It went Sands of Time, Warrior Within, and then Two Thrones.

I asked Nigel Wood about whether it's the original PS2 version of Warrior Within or the later PSP version and he responded that it's the console version. The answer's kind of ambiguous since the PSP is a portable console, but I take it to mean that it's from the PS2 version. I believe the PSP version had more content but lacked the polish of the PS2 version. Maybe Gameloft will add the extra PSP content through DLC or a free update?

I don't remember more content on the PSP version (I beat both), but it's been a while so you might very well be right. Using the PS2 version may explain the higher quality textures on the iPhone version.

Game looks pretty good, I'm surprised with the graphics. Most likely will get this when it comes out.
