I actually didn't realize how big the difference had gotten between the U.S. and Canadian dollar so their pricing does make sense. Still angers me knowing a few days ago I could have purchased some apps I wanted for a decent amount less but oh well.

Right now the U.S. dollar is over $1.18 Canadian so $11.99 for a $9.99 App isn't far off from the mark. Knowing this I'm not upset at their decision to increase the pricing at all in Canada however, my concern now is when or if te Canadian dollar becomes strong again will the prices be adjust back to reflect U.S. Pricing?

Is that included in the 99c price quoted in the App Store? How much is the tax?

It's just an 8 cent tax for a 99 cent game. So the total is $1.07.

So the tax is charged on top of whatever they quote, whereas on Europe the price quoted includes tax. In that case I have no complaint. The new pricing structure is fair (in the UK at least).

Except for the £1/$1 tier. That's still unfair.
