      So I pre-ordered Gears of War 3 and my local Gamestop today, but I forgot to ask the cashier if I could upgrade my pre-order to the special edition when it comes out? GoW is my third favorite series (1. Legend of Zelda, 2. Bioshock) and I wanted to buy the best possible edition they release.

      Anyone have any experience in doing this with other titles?

      You can go back and tell them to switch to the "collector's edition" whenever Epic announces one.

      They are already doing an "Epic Edition" but have yet to announce what goes inside of it. So I'm sure you could talk to them about it.

      ive done this before.. just go back and preorder the collectors ed aswell
