Pre-ordered! One of the few games that held my attention waaay too long when this was in Apple Arcade. You basically drop your character avatar into an arrna that resembles a pinball machine (or a pachinko machine) and your character either breaks pots filled with gold, strikes an enemy or gets stuck in one of several harmful spikes, inertia killing slime, etc.

Despite the way it looks and the deceptively simple gameplay one thing that sets this game apart are the random skills your character obtains during a run. These skills can be activated mid-flight for instance, the wizard avatar can shoot a basic fireball, a druid can teleport out of one of many plant blocks that spawn in an area giving your character more bounce time. These skills are super useful—if you have the mana for it. The skills you obtain can also be enhanced by different equipment you can grab along the way, granting you the chance to branch out into crazy builds.

    Also, it’s a roguelike RPG.

There will be boss fights, special treasure rooms, stupid mid-chapter NPC conversations, boss-taunts, post-game progression, etc.

It’s a bit more expensive than the usual arcade game on mobile but even if it was 10 bucks I’d buy this thing full price.

Very comparable to Vampire Survivor in terms of Skinner box highs and 10/10 will Pavlovian respond positively.

O~o I don’t understand? I mean that price is pennies to the amount of time and resources used to make the game. Plus, the steam version is $20. You are already getting 65% off.

Full discrepancy, and I hate that I have to explain this, but I liked post #3 because it's funny.

Where is the Apple TV and Mac versions? The 7 dollar price tag would sting less with both those versions included

Because the dev has to make money off a game and make some profit. As ‘some’ games which sell at 99c don’t always make a profit

did you go into the Apple Store and complain when your phone was over 1000 whole dollars as well ?

lucky you’re not from the UK. We pay whatever it is in dollars in pounds without any conversion. So $7 means it’ll be £7. Count yourself lucky !

Though I usually bristle at price complaints, you do make a good point. Roundguard seems perfect for Apple TV.

But It is going to be on Apple TV. The App info not displaying Mac or Apple TV support doesn’t really mean it won’t. The app info on the AppStore is not always correct.

Edit: Plus wasn’t it a requirement that most Apple Arcade games were suppose to work on all Apple devices. Including Apple TV and Mac. I’m pretty sure they will want to continue that, either on release or a little later.
