Just found out that the preorder page, that arrived today on the (german) appstore officially states it will be practically identical to the console versions!!! Looks like we got all good reasons to hope!

Controller support is currently not integrated. According to this, a possible switch port would propably be playable in handheld mode only. Read an article on this topic just yesterday. I am more than optimistic regarding the touch-optimised reworked controls, though. As for iCloud, i strongly believe that it will be fully supported. Square Enix have always put it in their games. Nice! I can do without MFi/controller, but iCloud would really make it nice to swap between big iPad vs iPhone X.
Square Enix is currently splitting their games into episodes. Is there a reason? It will be released soon anyway. Good!
Most likely — price and app size. Personally, I think the episode approach is a good fit for handhelds/mobile.
They did the same with Final Fantasy Dimensions I and it was fine by me I dont mind just glad we are getting it still shocked its actually happening Friday cant come soon enough I own it on Xbox one but just havent gave it proper time my kids are always playing the Xbox haha now I can
FFXV Chibi Friday! So excited! Even rewatched FFXV Kingsglaive and FFXV Brotherhood just to remind myself of the storyline. Maybe I'll finally finish it on mobile vs PS4 (where my backlog is even worse w/all the JRPG's I'm rolling through).
Hyped! I’m going to need to finish the console version before the pocket edition. Should allow me to grind a few levels on the pocket edition while I continue. I’m well over 100 hours and maybe half way through it on my PS4. Comrades, festivals, VR fishing. So much FFXV!!
It will launch on the 9th here, too. We just had the option to „preorder“ the game, which basically means it will be automatically downloaded once it is released. Edit: Which will be indeed this friday !!�������� i am SO pumped ��
No you didnt miss much but it is nice to have to get minor infos. I hope we also get the DLCs from console version because there are some important infos about the chars. I dont want to spoiler

I dont think any of us would be upset if it released early like today that would be sweet dont expect it though
