Hey everyone, I made Euclidean Lands a while ago, maybe some of you remember, and now I'm close to releasing my second game, Euclidean Skies. Euclidean Skies is ready for preorder now(40% discount on preorders) on Appstore, and will launch on October 25th! It combines marvelous architecture and turn-based movements to create a beautiful world with mind-bending puzzles. The point of the game is to rotate chunks of the world into a shape which gives you tactical advantage, allowing you to attack you foes! For those of you who played Euclidean Lands, asking what's different - apart from art, design, and much more advanced shaders and lighting, the rotations now can be decentric and work with asymmetrical objects, meaning that by every rotation you get a different shape. Hard to explain, you'll know when you see it For those interested, here's an announcement trailer I made, best works with the music Of course, as in the first game, you can play in augmented reality, but this time you cans witch it on and of without any interruption in the gameplay or need to restart level The game features 40 levels, some of which are composed of several levels bundled together,is very challenging in later stages, and features no loading times, and has a single camera shot transitioning from scene to scene by flying over. Let me know if you like it and if you do you can get it at discount here: https://itunes.apple.com/app/euclidean-skies/id1404253683
Can anyone actually see the gifs?? I can see them in edit but not in preview or here, I tried imgur giphy and own site... You can see them in here meanwhile https://imgur.com/a/quPC1bW
Yay! thanks I see them now too. Thanks a lot for the praise I worked on the shaders in it unhealthy amount of time
Just preordered. I usually don't like pre-ordering, but this looks great and at least if I forget about it, it will download automatically and give me a nice surprise!
Yeah, I just preordered too. While I dug Euclidean Lands a whole damn lot, I was playing it on an iPhone SE, so I didn’t really get THE Euclidean Lands experience. Switching to a XS however has been mind-blowing as far as Lands is concerned. The haptic feedback takes the great gameplay and makes it pop right off the screen. You truly feel like you’re playing with something physical between your fingers and it amplifies the experience tenfold. To say I’m stoked for Skies would be an understatement.
Ayayayay this is very flattering to read! Than you. In Euclidean Skies I tried to take the haptics a bit further, as there are various collision etc that might occur that produce different ticks, so you really feel like you hit something! there's also a slight rotations as you hold your phone (like iPhone background) that enhances the 3D feeling, and soft shadows projected when you play in AR! Hope you will enjoy it!
