This is an excellent game — and the sequel is even better. I assume that they’re putting a lot of time and effort on the port, hence the Feb release date.
That's a cool game. I unlocked NewGame+ on the Switch, but I didn't 100% the game; I'm pretty sure I missed several secrets and I didn't find every item in my first [and only] run.
Never seen this before. Preordered ! Gonna watch more YouTube videos. Seems a great metroidvania type of game
Looks like it’s has iPhone support only for now based on the AppStore icon. Or it’s just a typo. Hopefully they add support before release. I would like it to at least fit the iPad without the 2x fit screen button. If that is what they are going to do?
Never bothered with it in switch despite all the hype, I hate the graphics and theme. But on iOS I guess I’ll finally get it and play it despite not liking those things about it. If it’s as good as people say I’m sure that’ll outweigh my dislikes in the end.
I just watched the mobile trailer and there are several things I didn't see through my Switch run. ( °⌓°)
I like it, too, even though I wish they had added a few extra frames in animations, at least for bosses. But given the amount of enemies (and each execution), attack effects and detailed areas, demanding more [than necessary] care towards the visual aspect wouldn't be fair and it'd have potentially increased development costs [and time]. As for the overall theme and narrative, I was left a bit at a loss. I didn't pay much attention to it or my brain didn't retain it. One thing from the theme that I found outstanding, though, was its Spanish localization. I'm from LATAM so european Spanish sounds, by default, terrible for me; BUT THIS GAME is the greatest exception. The religious theme fits european Spanish expressions, both written and spoken, better than LATAM Spanish would, so I absolutely loved playing it with localization set to that language (which is a rare sight since I always play games in English). Gameplay-wise it's a violent monster at first. Enemies deal a lot of damage, platforming may demand high precission and parrying may be difficult in the beginning. Once you've gotten used to the pace and "physics", it's not that hard but will still offer a good challenge. I liked this game a lot on the Switch, but not enough to double dip on mobile (at least not a full price). But for people new to the game, I recommend it if metroidvania games are up their alley and if they're not bothered by the theme. Looking forward to it, nonetheless! ( ᐛ )ᕗ
