    Hello all,

We are currently working on our first independent iPhone game titled Prairie Chute. This concept has been brewing for awhile so we decided early last month to start development and are really enjoying the art, animation and gameplay.

The basic premise of the game is simple. The camera follows a skydiving prairie dog from a plane to the ground. Along the way there will be buzzards and coyotes patroling, landmines and other hazzards that will try to prevent you from getting to the "hole with the light on". Every 5 dogs you get in the hole, the envionment gets a little more challenging. Cliffs will move on to the screen that will require the player to close their chute and bounce off a cactus to get more air if they miss the hole on the way down. There is also lots of humor and animation for the dogs.

We are at the stage of refining the gameplay and level progression right now. The goal is to scale the difficulty in a way that even more novice players can see a good deal of the game, while not boring advanced players to tears (I know... obvious right :)). As it stands now, it is a "one-and-done"... you don't get a dog in the right hole, the game is over. Any suggestions that you may have about the style, gameplay or mechanic, please let me know.

    Thanks,
    Matt

Just a word of advice, remove the FPS counter.

Sure :)... still alpha for now, but for presentation sake... probably should. I imagine devs have forgotten that from time to time.

Yeah many do, and then have to submit an update in order to remove it.
