Hi again Bart. Maybe it‘s someday possible to implement a short info window when you tap on a stat or something similar. For example, what is "magic find"? Increasing the chance to find town portals, energy, life etc. or better (magic) armor, weapons etc? I’m probably not the first one who suggested this, so maybe there’s a reason why it’s not in there but a clarification on Magic Find would be much appreciated at least Thanks in advance for your reply. P. S.: And does spellpower also count for the basic spell/s (the ones you can only equip in the middle) and if so, wouldn’t you alway choose it over water/fire/arcane dmg etc. as those only increase the power of a single spell group?
I kinda felt it's pretty self explanatory and to be honest no one really suggested adding a description there. However a lot of people don't know if speed is attack speed or movement speed (it's movement speed), so an explanation screen would definitely be useful. Magic find is for finding better items. Spellpower works for pretty much every magic (non physical) attack. It's multiplicative with elemental bonuses, so in most cases the same amount of elemental damage bonus is better, because you already have a lot of spellpower.
Ok I just started playing and I absolutely love it! Fantastic job on this one my only issue is that I started level 2 dungeon and I’m instantly mobbed and killed I feel like I would have liked to grind level 1 a few more times for exp and items can you not replay previous levels or am I just missing something?
Do you mean power level 2? Yeah, it is no small bump in difficulty just to go from 1 to 2, never mind way beyond that! I had to get back to power level 1 (my characters are still early days too), which does indeed feel too easy. Plus the loot didn't seem much better for the effort. In fact, I barely equipped I got while at 2. I feel like I need a power level 1.5!
Do you just mean the way you go through a couple levels before going through the red portal to the boss, i.e. the first time you go through a white portal into the next dungeon? If so, I've not noticed that in and of itself being appreciably more difficult than the initial dungeon on that run. Power level is something you actually set in your options (the cog in lower right when you are looking at your inventory). @Bart Mamzer QOL request. Would love to be able to protect items in inventory so that you can still use sell all (except those protected items).
Yep that’s what I meant lol I got past the rough bit and beat the boss finally, it was just a rough spot I guess because I haven’t had any more difficulties since. I honestly haven’t checked out the power level thing yet I’m going to do it right now
I'm glad you were able to push through. The combat can get a little bit of getting used to, so maybe that was the problem. Also the first dungeon is chosen randomly, so maybe you got one that was a little bit harder
I would totally do that if I knew what you were talking about Where is the stash? EDIT: Found it in town. Maybe that should be labeled as well on the map, though, yes, it is right next to the portal! BTW, I went Baron level in the IAP. Totally worth it to support you with this excellent game, and the camera angles are too cool. And back to inventory - how do I now donate an item to another of my characters, which I believe was another unlocked perk...? EDIT: Answered this question as well, once I found stash!
Thank you! I appreciate it! And yeah, I've noticed that the stash didn't have a label for some reason. Next update will fix that
Baroness is automatically a Lady, unless she just wants to throw some coin out of the goodness of her heart (assuming Lady is the Lord equivalent ).
I played the first few levels. Here are some feedback. Overall, I think it’s a very accessible hack and slash. UI is easy to follow, and skills are easy to understand. Below are some things that need fixing/improved I have so far. 1. Pikes can attack through walls. 2. Attack animations could be made faster. 3. Enemies need speech sounds. Hitting an enemy and the enemy not making any sound really is immersion breaking.
Yeah, there's a lot of sound improvements to be done for sure. If you're talking about magic attacks then they get faster as you level up the corresponding mastery.
Well, I will hold on to play further until you add sounds for enemies (speech, attacking, etc). Also the hit sound is weak too. About the attack animation, I am talking about melee attacks.
I’m really looking forward to seeing what’s coming in future updates, would LOVE to see a female character option. Does anyone else find kicking dead bodies around oddly satisfying? I love that they don’t just drop loot and disappear although they can block doorways etc this can be used to your advantage to slowdown hoards
