Anyone got any tips on how to get an ace. I've made sensei miss many times over different sessions but in one game I can't get any more than 1 miss from him. Let alone I've NEVER scored an ace on him. Any tips would help. Thanks
Well you can't really score an ace which I'm told is technically a serve not touched by the receiver. You can only make sensei miss by hitting the side edge of the table. Hint: try spin.
Yea you're right on that. An "ace" is a serve unreturned from the person receiving. But when I saw people saying score 3 aces I was assuming if you can get it down it's easiest to score Aces on the sensei. But yea, I can use spin pretty well but I don't find it accurate at all. Not accurate enough to get it to the edge of the table. I'll keep at it tho. Thanks
Im really enjoying this more than i expected. It's not anywhere near my top10 for 2015 yet, but it definitely is one of the most fun i've had this year on iOS.
I just tested, looks like it's indeed possible to score an ace by serving to the edge of the opponent's table. I can't do it consistently though.

I voted this one for GOTW, as it is extremely polished. Seashine a close second as the atmosphere in that game is great.
Is there a way to get rid of the ads in the bubbles on the title screen? I know it's just for other games by the dev but it bothers me. If those ads can be turned off I will buy this game!!! Somebody let me know
Thanks for your impressions. Looks pretty cool. Can the the bubble ads for other games by the second be turned off? I know it's just other chillingo games & can be ignored but I'd rather be able to turn it off.
Nope. Just like in Donut Games' splash screens as well. Unless you touch the bubbles, it's basically just on that one spot sitting similar to a "More Games" link that is more common in most classic games.
Spoiler Wait for focus shots. Practice spinning them when they're x distance from over the edge of your side of the table. Until you get a good feel for what you need to do, and when. Alt. Serve in a straight line x distance from the table edge, sensei (at lower levels) will usually return it pretty straight, then spin return towards the edge. Can't remember which of these worked for me, but both of them have consistently produced ok results. I've triple-aced Sensei a few times and, er... ...think I just got an award called "error h4l", though I can't find it on my game centre awards list. Erm?
Looks like any foundling multiplayer community has died...? Had two days of occasional matches. Now back to never getting an auto match. Ever.
In my case i was never getting any auto-match since the beginning, but fortunately singleplayer was still highly enjoyable to me.
This has all the makings of a freemium game. The slot machine after matches, coins to continue, coins to purchase paddles but you hardly get any coins playing.i hope they don't do that. Have a $5 dollar game then make it free with IAP. All the stuff should just unlock & level up. I like the game, but it has the foundation to screw those that bought a premium game.
Iirc, I fluked a gadget madness and spammed him with supershots, or whatever they're called. Inglorious, and a bit dirty, but effective. In the end.
