    I assume you can install brutal doom onto this, along with duke 3d and Magic carpet and the such? Some people mentioned installing windows 95, would I be able to run win 95 games? Or only just the operating system?

    I wonder if this will play final fantasy 7 for windows?

    I almost doubt it will play FF7, as it runs under windows and its age 1997. You can get Windows 98SE-Windows 1.0 running, but the resources may are probably not all there.

    @neonbible
    Yea, I am not sure if there is a numpad in portrait. If there is one, i cant find it.

    @zergslayer
    On my 5S I am able to boot windows 95 and play and older msflightsimulator. slowly. mileage will varry per game. Also, internet works in this version of DOSPAD under windows 95(with extrasetup and extremely slow on ie 5)

    Thanks for the response. Now I just need to find a guide to do all this stuff. I wonder why there isn't more discussion. Probably because it hasn't been posted on front page yet.

    I think people are more interested in playing SNES games than old DOS ones.

    Does anyone know how to get the joystick to work? I need to use the joystick to play SWOS, but it doesn't work and I can't configure it from inside the game.

    I have to map the directions somehow, but I don't know how to do it.

    Probably, but then you'd be missing out on forgotten jems such as Robot Odyssey...

    Not to mention all the other great stuff already set up in DOSBox on GOG!

    Abandonia!
    Underdogs!

    Are you using the Windows version of VGB or the old DOS version?

    So could I in theory play the original X-Com using this?

    A HUGE thanks to the OP for making me aware of this app. I loaded up all of the old Sierra/Lucasarts Adventure games and they are running like a charm!

    Also a small tip to other users, download Dos Navigator. Its a mouse enabled visual Dos browser. You can setup Power DOS to autoexec the program upon starting so no typing is neccessary! just click the folder/exe file you want and get straight to gaming! Really streamlines the experience!

    Now lets hope this lasts on the app store for awhile...

    Indeed! I'm running this on a jailbroken iPaid Air 2 and incredibly, Daggerfall is running like a charm! Started up a new game yesterday, fiddled around a bit to find the right control scheme, and finished Privateer's Hold. It pretty much runs at full speed, simply amazing! It also runs nicely in landscape mode.

    Other games I've installed and played so far:

    Darklands
    Fantasy General
    Master of Magic
    Master of Orion
    Starflight 2
    Stronghold (The D&D citybuilder by SSI)
    The Magic Candle
    The Ishar RPG series, as well as Realms of Arkania
    Arena (but much slower than Daggerfall, and I haven't found a satisfying control scheme yet)

    All of these highly playable, also mainly due to their turn based nature I guess.

    Hmm, it's available for me. I just typed power dos into the search bar and it shows up just fine.

    Anyone tried Kings Quest or Hand Of Fate (Kyrandia) already?
    Ah all the memories. *_*

    e: seems like it doesn't has an 'edit' command. Do I miss something?

    Ok, thanks. Just wanted to make sure I didn't have to mess with win 95 to get it up and running.
