The questions is how smooth the mechanics work in the game and how the f2p model is, any imps? crazynurse Member Feb 7, 2016 6 0 0 #3 crazynurse, Aug 31, 2016 Well Made Attention Game Such a lovely game! I like how the customers get angry when served late and pay less money Good luck getting more players! abgt Member Aug 26, 2016 17 0 1 #4 abgt, Sep 1, 2016 The mechanics take getting used to, but my very biased opinion is that it works pretty well. F2P model is pretty lax. While working on the game, I managed to play it well without spending a cent and still performed quite well. I did watch some ads to speed up my earning rate in the game though. One apparent problem is that we don't let you get free gems at the moment, but we're addressing that in a future update. No imps/goblins yet, but they're coming. Orcs as well. Perhaps you could try the game out and let me know what you think? Most of the tweaks we did in this update are directly related to player feedback, and we're more than happy to get some more. abgt Member Aug 26, 2016 17 0 1 #5 abgt, Sep 1, 2016 Thanks and glad you liked the game! I sure hope we do. ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,748 985 113 #6 ste86uk, Sep 1, 2016 Sounds pretty good I do love alchemy and time management also tycoon games. Although it sounds more like an alchemy time management game, if only it could have more tycoon elements. I'll download to try abgt Member Aug 26, 2016 17 0 1 #7 abgt, Sep 1, 2016 Is there any particular feature or element you wish to see in the game? ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,748 985 113 #8 ste86uk, Sep 1, 2016 I don't know what it is but so far I just feel like it's missing something anything I would want would be more elements that aren't time management really, but as a time management game it is fairly enjoyable making me want to play more. I never did like art though and for some reason keep forgetting which colours to mix to make certain potions that part makes it harder and I imagine as you progress there will be even more to mix? Also the boss battles I don't understand at all I've done a couple now and end up having to wait for them to leave as I complete the order and make the glass look exactly as it does on the picture as generally they are not full yet it never completes? But compared to the many other time management games I've played so far besides the colour mixing of course it feels very simple and more reparative as there's less variety in the actions you perform. I also miss being able to start a few seconds before the first customer. This part isn't necessary it's more about polish but maybe a small potions manual or something unless there is one? Just where it has each potion and what's required to mix it, what the potion is called and a brief description of what it does I think would help in remembering colour mixes and also add some flair and more immersion. I'm unsure if it'll just be when I need upgrades or what to get things quicker but I find some people it's hard to get their order out with it remaining green for their happiness for eg with the brown potion you can start it as soon as they ask and do it as quickly as possible but it takes that long anyway you get a smaller tip. But anyway I do like the game I will certainly play more but in the long run I'm unsure how long it will hold my attention as the colour aspect is a nice twist on the time management mechanic but it feels lacking in the other areas with variety of tasks, upgrades and just the overall feel. Like with some you feel like your running a spa, diner or shop ect but here I just feel like I'm waiting and then repeating the same action and when it does get fast which isn't often so far it's harder to manage than other games as sometimes you just can't remember what it was to mix a certain thing while your there mixing 3 at once. Sorry it's so long just wanted to put my thoughts down. forsakenxe Well-Known Member Oct 23, 2014 709 0 16 #9 forsakenxe, Sep 1, 2016 First impressions are positive coming from a person that has never played another game like this before, f2p seems fair I like it. I just did not find a way to remove ads, is there one? Will play some more once I can remove ads. ikouyo New Member Apr 20, 2015 3 0 1 Independent game developer Worthing #10 ikouyo, Sep 1, 2016 Like it so far but... Must say I've not put it down for a good half an hour, I'm enjoying the game so far but have a couple of issues. First, I'm rather disappointed that making an IAP doesn't stop or at least calm down the rate I see ads. I don't mind a game with ads, but after every play is a bit much especially after I've made a purchase. Also I've downloaded from the UK and the shop items came up in USD. Second, I would love there to be a do-over option for Boss days, mostly because I feel I've been hard done by the graphic for layered orders where a middle layer has been obscured by the Heart item and the chalice's hourglass shape means the layer was almost completely disguised. Looking forward to seeing more of this as I keep going. Totally hooked! abgt Member Aug 26, 2016 17 0 1 #11 abgt, Sep 2, 2016 Thanks for the feedback! That potions manual is a nice idea and is something we planned on adding originally. We didn't have time to add it in before the release, but we will add it in the future. Thanks again! abgt Member Aug 26, 2016 17 0 1 #12 abgt, Sep 2, 2016 We're now working on a remove ads button. Also looking into lessening the ads for those who've purchased from the shop. Thanks for the feedback! abgt Member Aug 26, 2016 17 0 1 #13 abgt, Sep 2, 2016 Thanks for the feedback ikouyo! There are other players who shared the same sentiment as you, so we're going to add a remove ads feature and show less ads (or temporarily disable ads) when you've purchased any IAP. The shop items coming up in USD is a bug we'll take a look at this. Also adding in a do-over option is in our back log of things to do, so it should come up one of these days. Thanks again! ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,748 985 113 #14 ste86uk, Sep 2, 2016 Apps usually completely remove ads after a purchase not just reduce them or temporarily stop them. Couldn't you just sell a coin doubler iap? That way instead of watching ads go do it they have paid for it ikouyo New Member Apr 20, 2015 3 0 1 Independent game developer Worthing #15 ikouyo, Sep 3, 2016 No worries! Another note for the Boss days, it would make it so much easier to see the multi layer potions if you could make them a bit bigger! Not so much a problem for the Common Potions but the layers for the Boss in the Wildwood Forest are near impossible! I've lost a few for not seeing Brown as the bottom layer, or the difference between the pale Orange and the pale Yellow (sorry don't know the names for the brews!) Will now be waiting patiently for the next Bar to open up! abgt Member Aug 26, 2016 17 0 1 #16 abgt, Sep 3, 2016 That coin doubler iap actually makes a lot of sense. We'll probably add that in! And yes, if that's the case, then we can make it a permanent ad removal for purchases. abgt Member Aug 26, 2016 17 0 1 #17 abgt, Sep 3, 2016 I've relayed the problem to our art guy. There's also the case of having a heart gel block one layer of the big portion that we want to solve. Thanks again for helping us out with these issues. I'll post updates on this thread. kmb08753 Member Oct 29, 2015 7 0 1 #18 kmb08753, Sep 5, 2016 The game consistently locks up at rewards screen. Reward page comes up but badges and rewards never populate. Pressing the button to continue does nothing. I ha e to force close the game and re-enter. Gold for the stage does seem to be awarded when I get back in though. I can usually go 1 board normal, then it freezes on the next. Ipad3 latest and second latest IOS version. abgt Member Aug 26, 2016 17 0 1 #19 abgt, Sep 5, 2016 Thanks for reporting this! That's quite a strange issue. We'll check what's up with our game on the iPad 3 and I'll let you know if we find anything out. Thanks again. kmb08753 Member Oct 29, 2015 7 0 1 #20 kmb08753, Sep 5, 2016 Enjoying the game otherwise. Seems to happen mostly when I'm under the required served number. As in, it says serve 12 at the beginning and I only serve 10. Looks like the reward animation freezes. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
