Game Breaking Bug Report : I deleted my save file from the Statistics Page so to begin a new game. Now the game crashes on startup. The game will start while in airplane mode, but if I disengage airplane mode the game crashes. A 'newer save file has been found' is the message that I get right before it crashes. I Reset the device. Deleted app. Did a full restore on device. Turned off Post Knight in iCloud, Totally Turned off iCloud. Nothing helps. Ipad Air 2, 10.2.1
Like others today, I'm suddenly having trouble launching game when online. I presume this is due to server trouble, as game dev has mentioned overload issues. If I launch in airplane mode it works perfectly, just no access to ad boosts.
Yeah, they probably were not ready for the New Game feature in the app store. It will get fixed soon. I hope.
To be honest I feel bad/dont feel bad for the devs. I feel sorry for the devs because this game is so good and I'm sure they worked really hard on it. On the other hand, devs not taking their own games seriously and not being prepared for a huge influx of players has been talked about so many times in the media that I can't say I'm really feeling bad for them. They should have been more prepared. This is a major reason why some games just never take off at the beginning. If this doesn't get fixed soon, its very likely the game will meet a similar fate as those other games. I mean some games have been pulled from Apples "Game of the Week" or "Best choice" lists (or whatever their called, all because the game didn't function properly from the beginning. Hopefully they fix it soon :S.
i have no problems at all. the game only crushes when i'm online. but that's it. switch to the offline and play this peace of cutesy. nobody died. also, i don't have any problems with saves. i just don't get it.
glad i is ables to read I thought "holy crap this awesome game that came out of nowhere with this unexpected incredible depth isn't working for my afternoon poo". Then I read the other comments and I guess the servers are having issues. Guess I will play tomorrow /sadface
Just use airplane mode I did and mines working fine and resumed from where I was currently up to with my cloud saving enabled. Just got to hope when the servers are back my offline progress is resumed when online but I imagine it will as it worked pretty seamlessly before.
Definitely not bad luck since I've been playing since the game released. Do you know how many shop resets those are? A LOT. And each time the same items are there.
I'm now having problems whenever I try to connect online too. But I'll wait until it gets fixed--just in case a another glitch causes my new progress to not be saved once the server/s is back up and running.
Oh just wanted to note this is why I love (and spend money on) offline games and only have 1-3 online only games on my phone. I hate relying on Internet connection for everything (especially if all your important data is only found online). Server goes down, game is scrapped, etc. no more game to play. Luckily these devs are awesome and allowed for offline play. So that's in fact what I'm doing right now, playing it offline
The game constantly crashes on startup I never seen a screen beyond the first splash screen. Any ideas how to solve this. I am quite interested in this.. Already tried to quit all apps and restart my phone.
Be patient, it's crashing for everyone right now. The dev responded a few pages back that they didn't anticipate this level of traffic to their servers. This was in regards to not receiving the offline rewards. This crashing must be related considering it crashes while trying to connect to the server. At the time of this posting, it's almost 8am in Malaysia where the devs are, so give them a chance to look into the issue and hopefully fix/upgrade their servers so we can all return to playing this awesome game. Since some people have reported playing offline (airplane mode) and potentially losing progress or something, I'm going to just wait and not risk anything.
@L.Lawliet: Hmm not sure why you're having issues completeing gear sets. I completed all 3 tier 1 sets quite easily. The adventurer hat and combat armour always seemed to be instock so I think those pieces have to be bought. The rest I found through chest rewards by doing the story missions (just pressing go). Also a tip for everyone: always buy copper bars when they are in stock. They are used to exchange for gear that can only be obtained from the merchant.
I agree always buy copper bars.....if you can get into the game. Went from my favorite game to my least played game in about 3 hours If we have to restart from scratch i hope they give us some free loot to make up for time
Later sets require silver bars. I wouldn't buy so many copper bars. Just refresh the list when you need more.
Btw, my airplane mode works fine since some people were scared to open the game. Still been playing for a while.
