I just remembered, and I can't believe I didn't mention this earlier. The trick of healing faster than you're hurt against a boss is to barely not catch up to him when he's running (This does NOT work on the valley of gold boss), and chug potions for a good 5-10 seconds while he isn't doing anything about it. good timing on charges is important for this. I never used the green potion, so I don't know what effect it would have on that tactic. As for using the blue potion... I would strongly recommend it. The blue potion can give you more than 20 magical defense, which will usually be a major blind spot for your character, as the only thing that really affects it is intelligence, the worst stat. The boss exclusively uses magical attacks, so boosting magical defense in this manner is absolutely crucial.
Flithelm??? Does anyone know where to get the flithelm? I have every other piece and I'm up to Cadlemount and I still haven't found it. pls help ;w;
Loving the game so far! Only played for a few days but I'm already at Caldemount. Commenting here to say what I did to 1 shot the Caldemount boss if anyone is having any trouble. I used the Seagleam set until around lvl 50 to lvl quick and I realise I can't actually complete the main routes in Caldemount anymore with Seagleam maxed out so I looked at the comments here and specced heavily in Str and agility. I got the Sinister set with silver bars and from the routes and smithed sword and shield to 4/5 Stars. It suddenly became a lot easier on all the routes in Caldemount and for the boss High Priest in here I 1 shotted it using the Healing Shield skill + the Sword skill that doubles the range (I used blue potion upgraded to 3s and nothing else, I did the shield + sword charge at the same time to him and took out all his HP as he was running since my sword skill catches up to his running and just killed him in 2 charges) Hope this helps someone!
Flithelm? I want to say it's in the Caldemont shop, but it may be a piece you get via adventuring there...how far into Caldemont have you gone?
Yay! I finally got thru Soul Meadow! Was wearing Sinister gear (maxed sword and shield), and using the blue potion (though it still was at a miserable 8 seconds). I kept hitting the boss, rather than catching up with him, and did a fair bit of button mashing. Gonna chalk this one up to luck! #
haven't had a chance to update yet - for those of you experiencing a constant crash after certain path missions, did the update fix it?
Now grinding for that Crystal potion. I'm finding (a) that it's easier/more profitable to repeatedly hit Caldemount's Southward Boulevard ($31,000 per run, nearly full health), or Amity Lane ($38,000, half health) to get up the gold, and (b) those Moonbud flowers are ridiculously expensive and hard to get. I've actually had better luck finding them when doing the postal missions! I'm at lvl 70, using 3-4 star Feral dagger and Visor, 5-star Sinister shield and 1-star Golem armor for now. I may detour to get the rest of the Feral set before completing my Crystal potion mission...
I'm really enjoying the game, but devs, games which penalize me for not playing every day get stressful. I'd really appreciate it if that mechanic were removed.
Your relationship with the ladies is the only thing that suffers if you don't play each day right? I didn't pursue any relationships at all and was able to complete the game...
The deteriorating relationships. Maybe the gifts they give don't matter much in the long run, I dunno, but it bothers the completionist in me, I feel like I'm missing something otherwise.
I am seriously stuck at Caldemount 2nd stage I mean its like banging my head against a wall. Go as far as I can and die then watch an ad to do it all over again until I cant watch anymore ads then I stop playing for a while. Is this what is supposed to be happening?
Sometimes you have to go a City back to get some XP. Check the Post at the very entrance you can make timeruns there they give a huge amount of XP. Get Levels and go back to caldemount. What skillz are you using?
