I discovered an exploit by accident. I payed to refund my stat points. Closed the game to research more where to allocate them. Reloaded the game a day later and was able to add the refunded points on top of my old, pre-reset build. I pumped all ~600 into str/agi resulting in very high stat numbers. Now it seems I'll have to spend 100 gems to fix it. Maybe it's the fact I'm max level or have the mistral set, but starting Valley of Gold hasn't been that hard (or maybe I'm trying to justify not spending the gems...) Can anyone comment on the difficulty increase when starting the last town, that was max level with the mistral set?
According to the wiki: "There's a natural decay of affection if the player does not visit or give a gift to an NPC over a long period of time." I didn't play for a day or 2 and everyone lost one heart. I'm most curious if just visiting them without gifts will be enough to maintain their deep longing affection for Sir postknight.
This was my experience also. I lost all affection to two npc's. I missed going into the game for a day.......I mean come on, I actually have a life. Beginning to not have such a great feeling about this game after all.
I just hit S-rank, but I'm not getting S-rank deliveries, even in the valley of gold. Will this be addressed in a future update?
Three Questions and Comments 1. Concerning the girls, yes, for me, I also dropped down to four hearts for three of them. I see I have to buy them some more flowers. 2. I also have not seen any S-rank deliveries, and I am currently an S-6 rank. 3. Has anyone been able to purchase any of the Everlast equipment? P.S. I completed the Valley of Gold quite easily. The Feral set is, in my opinion, the best set in the game. It's blue, so you can upgrade the equipment easier than the purple or gold. With the Life Steal (Sword) and Precise barrier (Shield) skills that replenish HP, you can become unstoppable. This is the set and skills you want to get.
Lifesteal "According to the Wiki Nightbane is the one with the lifesteal... Not Feral." Right. That's why I wrote, "With the Life Steal (Sword) and Precise barrier (Shield) skills that replenish HP, you can become unstoppable." I also would pick Feral, as it is easier to max out this set as it is blue, as opposed to Nightbane, which is purple.
That's a shame. Hopefully this gets addressed. With full nightbringer armor, combat is getting boring, and tougher deliveries would spice it up a bit.
Mistral Armor Hey guys, any advice on how to get and max the Mistral Armor fast? It looks for now that I'll have to grind for a good hour to just buy one piece, and it'll take a few days to but the other 3 also. I can't even imagine how difficult it'll be to upgrade it. Thanks
Thats because I believe they won't be found in the last town. They will come in the next town after that.
Soul Meadow doldrums Anyone else having difficulty on this one? I've reloaded my stats twice, tried different armor, tried different charges, shields, potions, you name it. I feel like a postknight failure! (I'm lvl 68 btw...this should not be hard!)
Are you having trouble with the boss? Bosses are really easy with a low-cooldown potion, since a combination of shield and potion gives a hefty net bonus of health. If you're having trouble with enemies, I would either use the the charge with the double distance plus the shield (a glitch causes this to overwrite the slowed movement, giving a very substantial damage resistance), or the health drain charge plus the improved absorption block. If neither of these work, keep farming to improve your blue potion, and max out mistral armor. That should be plenty to beat the area. EDIT: I should also note that level has very little effect on combat ability. I used a (now fixed) glitch to max my level in early griffondel, but it only affected my combat ability by a small amount. Equipment and equipment upgrades are much, much more effective at boosting your fighting ability.
That darn boss... It's the boss. I read somewhere that the blue potion wasn't needed; my red and green are quite high, but apparently not high enough. I may also try downshifting to an earlier dagger for more speed. Back to the drawing board...thanks for the tips!
