Hey guys, I noticed when creating my new forum thread just now that using the Image option to post a GIF file doesn't seem to work? It's visible and animated in the Create Thread edit window for me, but when I hit Preview, all I see is an image icon with a red X? Just curious if this is a known issue, or if I should be doing this differently? Thanks
Hey Eli, ah excellent it's working now Previously it wasn't on any of my browsers, and was displaying the red X icon when I viewed this thread. I'll let you know if I see it again.
I was having the same issue, but I think I figured out the reason why. It seems like the gifs stop showing up if they are 6mb or larger. Or somewhere around that size. For example a 5.7mb gif of mine works just fine, but a 6.3mb gif does not. At first I thought it was EzGif's fault during compression, but if you compress and remove frames (also speed the gif down accordingly) until it's somewhere under 6mb, then it should work fine. Hope it works for you.
