I think Icewind Dale Enhanced edition is coming to iOS. And yeeessss, NWN for iOS! They were able to port XCOM, DQ8, Bioshock, and IIRC, there was a video somewhere where Borderlands 2 was running on an iPad, which were big console games. Hmmm i think I'll drop the devs (Beamdog) an email
I know that it may not be recieved well quoting a post from nearly 2 years ago, but since people are posting on this thread But...I don't think JBRUU realized he managed to predict the future right then It's even weirder when I remember that on April Fools Day last year, he also posted a joke thread about San Andreas coming to iOS JBRUU, if you're here, can you see the future?
Hoggy110 bro that is actually funny. I'd like to see FIFA Street, NBA Street, All Marvel vs Capcom series (1, 2, and 3) with Game Center and MFi, Capcom vs SNK 2 with Game Center and MFi. I'd like to see Jet Moto 1, 2, or 3; Wave Raver (N64); Killer Instinct 1 and 2. Also Tekken 2, 3, and Tag Tournament. I really would also like to see Call of Duty's (Any/All) ported to iOS.
All of my old Java flip-phone games, like Ancient Empires II. Heck, I'd settle for a good J2ME game emulator.
So, with Half Life 2 & Portal already ported to Android, I'd love to see that, Oddworld New N Tasty, Much's Oddysee, another Dead Space & an actually good World war 2 shooter that isn't plagued with iap. Other than that, I'm pretty covered with ppsspp, retroarch & nds4ios EDIT: Forgotto mention left 4 dead & tony hawks underground
I'd like to see the manager/career mode in the FIFA 15 console get put back into the mobile version. I guess that's not really a port. So, in spirit of the thread... I'd like to replay The PS2 game Indigo Prophecy on the iPad. Bet the touch controls would really make the gameplay better.
This right here. EDIT: I'm sure in a few years it'll be possible due to the upcoming and inevitable GameCube emulator for iOS.
Been thinking this a lot coz i saw a kid playing at the mall last sunday on the old PSP. Valkyrie Profile. I think it would be awesome to translate into touch. We already know how good platforming is on iOS when done right, and the battle system screams for touch mechanics as well. Instead of pressing face buttons that represent the characters in combat, we can tap on the characters themselves to initiate their attacks to make the right combo sequences. Kinda like giving them a nudge to go attack now. I think that would feel really natural.
2015 Wish-list: 1. Planescape Torment - due to licence legal wrangles, more chance of Forgotten Memories releasing this decade 2. Grim Fandango - due for release on PS Vita 3. Day of the Tentacle - due for release on PS Vita 4. Ultima VII Planescape Torment is now on my bucket-list before I kick the proverbial ...
Have this on the Xbox360 (on my ever-growing backlog of unfinished games, obviously). Would definitely need to be played via controller. That said, I'm not a fan of touch interface for action based games, so YMMV - if this was ever to be released for iOS.
