C.0.ntact is a game put together of bought assets. Anyone with 100$ could do what's shown (or at least what I've seen). The story is also very generic. Nothing about that project impressed me so far. You've got thousands of such projects over on the Unity forum. Besides post apocalypse Sci-Fi is very different from those "space & aliens Sci-Fi". The closest thing to a Sci-Fi fps/rpg that you're looking for is Infinity project 2 right now.
Railroad Tycoon 1 (Microprose) K240 (Gremlin, I think?) EOS (EA... yes really EA, back when they made good games.) Ultima V (Origin) any of those would be day 1 instantbuy.
I stumbled upon Monaco:what's mine is yours on steam..I think this game would be a perfect fit for the platform..Hope it gets ported..
At the moment I'd kill for a proper Assassin's Creed experience on iOS. Something with the mechanics of the main games, such as a port of any one of the console games (or even of Bloodlines, the PSP game), would be ideal. Gameloft has proven with BackStab that the gameplay style could be adapted for touchscreens, and games like GTA, Deus Ex or X-COM prove that iOS devices have enough power to run these types of games. Hopefully Ubisoft will use the Assassin's Creed property more in this platform in the future.
I quite like the sound of - Vampire: The Masquerade & Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines. Reminds me of Bloodmasque. Never really experienced these action/RPG's, so wouldn't mind seeing these ported over to iOS. Masquerade: http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vampire:_The_Masquerade Bloodlines: http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vampire:_The_Masquerade__Bloodlines Requiem: http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vampire:_The_Requiem All three are set in a similar world/series (world of darkness)
@Gov, the switch from Windows to OSX / iOS really hurts in the RPG department. Vampire - the Masquerade: Bloodlines is a prime example. Not even available on Xbox 360 =/. Isn't Bloodlines twitch-based? I can't play twitch-based games with touchscreen. Just doesn't work for me. Hence, the Xbox. Turn-based games however... Now c'mon and hurry up with Planescape Torment! Whilst you're at it, add Grim Fandango. If you really wish to port Ultima VII ... SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!
