Summer is here and I'm in mood for some pirate games.Pirates of the Caribbean port would be awesome , shouldn't be much of problem in any way
If that means developers are going to intentionally release games that suck on a touchscreen in the hope we're all using physical controls, then Apple can go to hell. I wouldn't spit on someone who sunk that low.
This one http://www.mobygames.com/game/pirates-of-the-caribbean Basically it would be like current Sid Meier Pirates ! with better graphic and RPG elements.Story is shallow but as real-time sailing and ship fighting simulator it's excellent.
I want Jungle King by Taito!!! Been screaming for this forever! I have it on MAME, but would love a universal build! You hear me, Taito?!!!
"Be formless... Shapeless like water... Now you put the water in the cup, it becomes the cup... You pour water into a bottle; it becomes the bottle. You put water in into a teapot; it becomes the teapot. Now water can flow, or creep or drip or crash! Be water, my friend"...-Bruce Lee
I wish Fishlabs would port DEEP: submarine odyssey to iOS. I used to play that game 24/7 on my (now) old Sony Ericsson. I personally liked DEEP better than Galaxy on fire 2. Maybe because it didn't have the generic Sci-Fi look, or maybe it was just something awesome about hunting fishes, whales, squids and stuff with a submarine. I also wish they'd port planet riders, robot alliance, blades & magic, powerboat challenge and motoraver. Damn, I miss those games...
I miss Rovio's old games I used to play on my old Nokia N96 , namely Darkest Fear trilogy was awesome, SWAT Elite and War Diary tactical games. They were all simple games in J2ME ( java ) , but just were ahead and far better than most other games back then.Rovio was my favourite developer long before they actually become world famous And don't get me started on games I played on N-gage
I always wanted to buy the N-gage... But never had the money. Hmm... Is there an emulator for those java games for the iOS?
Damn, you've gotten me nostalgic. There were SO MANY good java games out for mobile. I loved the Darkest Fear trilogy (especially number 2). Games that Macrospace (now Glu) used to make were also great - stuff like Fatal Force and Ancient Empires II. There were even open-world GTA-style games! Thinking about it now it's amazing what mobile devs did with something like 65-150 kilobytes on mobile. N-gage 2.0 even had a fully-fledged, non-gimmicky Metal Gear game http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metal_Gear_Solid_Mobile
Ok I just saw my brother playing stealth bastard on his nexus 7...Damnit its should be ported to iOS immediately!! Check the game out on steam..It's like super meat boy meets mark of the ninja..
So far three of my top 5 games of all time have ported over. Xcom (94 & 2012) 1 of them is good enough Baldurs Gate series Fallout 2 KOTOR FF7 FF7 and Fallout 2 would be amazing!!! I was going to ask if you guys though a game like Path Of Exile could be ported over? Point and click could be done easy enough. The game is F2P but is an amazing game and what many believe D3 should have been.
Fallout 3, or something similar needs to be made on ios anyway, because there aren't really any games like that with a large open map. I know it may be a bit much to ask for, but it could be possible in another two years or so
Actually if you check the upcoming iPhone and iPod touch games list there's a game called C.0.ntact that has a thread there maybe you should look into it. I'd personally like to see some kind of medieval game like Morrowind come to ios.
