Ok, just because I get a job somewhere doesn't mean that you can be idiots about it. If you have a problem write it yourself! And besides wit, inside jokes, and game references is a huge part of portal, not flat out humor.
You misunderstand how the market works friend. If they make a good game, i buy it. if they make a bad game, i don't. How you want the market to be: Make a good game, buy it. Make a bad game, make it yourself so it will be a better game. You can see how wrong you are, right? Besides, i am not a game creater, i am a gamer. It is not my job, to make your games better. I am an actor, if i should trouble myself with making all bad games better by making them myself, i would never become an actor. Simple!
The way this thread is being run (where the developer wants to maximize posts so much he has rules about when he will answer questions based on number of posts,) is pretty strange, so I'm surprised so many people are getting excited about this game. We really haven't seen or heard anything about it yet. I would be excited if the video posted on page two was a video of this game, but from going back to the the developers post on the first page, it seems it isn't. Valve never let that game (which looked like just about an exact replica of Portal on the iPhone) come out, so if this game infringes on Portal too much, I'm sure they'll have some things to say about it as well. I'd love to see Portal on the iPhone, but I don't see Valve letting anyone else do it, and so far they haven't shown any interest in doing it themselves.
But there is another possiblity: as soon as the developer submitts the game in the AppStore and Valve is alerted, they may decide not to stop the submission process but to buy rights to the game and relase it as their own product under copyrighted name "Portal". That would be the best for all of us, I believe.
Well if your the gamer and you have no influence or care about how a game is made then stop complaining. Buy or not, I honestly don't care if 20 people or so don't buy the game because I am writing the story. I guarantee the 3 million other idevice gamers could care less if a 15 year old helped make the game. It shouldn't even matter in the first place. Who is going to know besides the people complaining now? Seriously. Stop being a baby. I'm helping make this game whether you like it or not. Grow up.

Thank you. I have improved my jokes btw. Some of the wit will be included in the story but i cant tell you it right now (contract). I loved the original portal and loved the charm and references that they put into it. I will try to put as much of that into my dialog and storyline as possible. Once again, thanks for the support.

from what i know full 3d (because he mentioned dual stick controls and i dont think you could make a top down portal) but i dont know for sure.

Well anyone could of put what i just said together. I just did it for the "slow" people and/or the people that skimmed the thread and missed it. If you don't want to listen to me, thats fine. I'm still saying it for the people that are listening.
Any screenshots? Or better yet, videos? Also, if you get permission from Valve, will you do a direct port?
