Thanks! ninjackid Well-Known Member May 27, 2010 9,380 2 38 #15 ninjackid, Jan 15, 2013 Sweet! Thanks for the freebie! Just wondering, are there any plans to add widescreen support for the iPhone 5? Clash Force Well-Known Member Feb 25, 2012 78 0 0 #16 Clash Force, Jan 15, 2013 It's possible, but I don't have the money to buy a widescreen device at the moment, and I don't feel comfortable releasing a product that I can't test hands on. I would of course like to support as many devices as I can, but it's also a bit tricky with a pixel art style game that is designed so deeply in conjunction with the resolution. For example, on some of the boss stages that take place on a single non-scrolling screen, there is actually nothing to the right or left to show, and that would have to be reworked. Very retro type graphics. Not ipad retina or even close. Can't get myself to play on my ipad cause it's not retina, but it looks decently enough on hdmi tv. This game reminds me of a more primitive sonic the hedgehog in gameplay. It has a choice of controls iphone or ipad which seem to work for me. The gameplay is fantastic, and it has really cool music. Highly recommended! Psiufoxx Well-Known Member May 25, 2011 421 0 16 sustainability consulting paris (yeah, the one in france) #18 Psiufoxx, Jan 15, 2013 Last edited: Jan 15, 2013 A must own. Grabbed it! I'm a big fan of "blue sky games" like this - those of the upbeat, bright color variety. And I've got to say its a fantastic little game, hugely inspired by Sonic and Bomberman and other similar platformers, but not a simple rehash or clone. Great chip tune music and interesting level design, plus lots of funky little power ups to keep game play fresh. I don't know how I missed Polyroll up until now, but I'm really happy to have an opportunity to play it. Justin - are you a one man show? Did you design this and Clash Force on your own? If so, bravo! Have you seen much success from sales? squabs Well-Known Member Nov 3, 2012 317 1 18 #19 squabs, Jan 15, 2013 Thanks, toot toot! Reminds me of sonic 1 and 2 on sega master system.
