    No. All politicians = DoucheBags

You know how Obama is getting nothing done? Yeah not entirely his fault. If you READ some magazines and articles you would realize that republicans are flat out saying no to everything democrats try to pass. It's Dick(less) Cheney's idea to make the public's support and faith in the democrats decrease, therefore allowing the republicans to get more seats and positions in the next election. As long as the ignorant public doesn't become suspicious it'll work. Thanks to our wonderfully ignorant society, it's going to work.

I love reading forums with republicans in them. Such stupid responses. Democrats are equally as susceptable to being that gullible but the main stream republicans are taking it to a new level. All I hear are Obama jokes and a lot of wild accusations rather than discussion.

Teenaged politicians don't count. You're not being paid 400,000 dollars, with free health care, and other things you don't need. Money like that makes anyone want to stay in office, no matter what.

You usually put a lot of thought into your responses. Don't take this the wrong way, how much more power would the democrats need to pass their agenda? If they are failing now, they can only blame themselves. There are no excuses. This current batch of democrats are among some of the least talented politians we have seen in a long time. Clearly you were around for the Bush years. Criticism of Obama is no where near that level. He is the big man now. Perhaps he could act like it and stop making excuses for the lack of appeal of his agenda.

I try to rant as much as possible.

Like I said it's not ENTIRELY his fault, therefore implying that he was at fault, but not all of it should be placed on him. Yeah Bush was made fun of a lot more than Obama... guess I'm just a biased eh?

His agenda is pretty typical of a democrat. Didn't clinton try some health care reform too? Plus this health care package is nearly the exact same as Mitt Romney's (who now denies that he had that idea).

Thank you for replying. You have integrity. Mit Romney is done, so your right. We can not pay for all those claims. Look to Japan. Our elderly outnumber our workers. We can't just raise taxes like the democrat's say. They know this. Their answer is ambiguous at best. What we may want will never equal what we can have. That is where our real differences occur. They have been telling us what we want to hear since the Civil War. They are now being held to what they say, to a certain degree.

Clearly, the last part is editorial of mine.

Well if they can transform these higher taxes into jobs, then I'd be all for it. But then again, no one really seems to have an idea what they're doing. I'm no economist, nor a financial expert, or anything even close to that so I can't make claims on what can, or can't help the economy.

You are a good thinker for one so young. Use your mind. Lower taxes will bring more jobs. Less Government. Not just a saying. There is a comission looking into the subprime collapse right now. It's Chaired by Phil Angelites(sorry, may have spelled it wrong). They are ignoring Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. We will go through this again. I watched this happen. Some saw it happening a year on.

Edit: High taxes will destroy countries. Always has.

Yeah I see the logic in that. Less taxes makes for people to live easier, thus allowing them to stay in that place, helping the businesses in that area, and then the businesses expand, and make more jobs :D Plus if corporate taxes were lower the businesses have more incentive to stay in that area.

There was a map on corporate taxes vs. economis growth. I think there were two states experiencing growth in the United States, Texas and one other. Texas coincidentally has the lowest corporate taxes.

True. This makes me laugh though. I grew up in California. Oddly we are taught to fear Texans. Now I think they may be the smartest people in the country.

BTW, this comission is a sham. That makes me mad. We may have gone through this for nothing....

We should all go back in time and read pages 10 or so onwards. What a stimulating conversation.
