I want to like this, but constantly having swipes detected as tap + swipe. Really frustrating to throwaway a card I wanted to keep
Did you update the app yet? The new release is just available in about an hour. The biggest improvement is inside the control scheme which I tried to fix exactly your problem. Can you lets me know if the issue is still there or not and which device that you're playing?
This is really nice! I saw in the winning hand list "5 of a kind". Are their wild cards or something?
No, there will be a wild card in the update but not in the current version. 5 of a kind is a winning hand in Double Deck Mode since you will play with 2 set of cards, there will be posiible that you will get 5 same cards in hand.
Politaire is featured on "New Game We Love" in US and a a lot of Stores. Thanks a lot for your interesting with the game.
I really hope that you like it, especially the icon. The big update will come a bit later since I want to invest more time on it to make sure that it must be better. I will inform everyone whenever it's ready.
got it! I will check and improve it for you, this control scheme might need to change in the iPad since the swipe action is not comfortable to play at all in a big screen device... if you have any feedback, don't hesitate to advice me!
I don't mind swiping at all, if it didn't take cards by accident. What would be awesome for iPad is a landscape option, but I realize that might involve significant effort. I think an interesting idea for a new mode would be one that penalized you for each time you draw cards (maybe above a certain amount)...basically that prioritized efficiency over getting the best hands.

The new icon is really beautiful!! I, too, would really love landscape view. I find it so much more comfortable to hold my iPad that way that I tend to spend more time playing games that offer landscape view. Except for yours, of course, Antony. I'll play them whichever way I need to. But I do hope for landscape view Politaire in the future. #
