Play smart and think ahead by keeping good cards for the next turn too. There is luck involved but a good dose of strategy will net you big scores! Can you get a real high score in this solitaire game? But after your one pair “second chance” if the game doesn’t deal you any valid hand options, what can you do? I'm a lone dev so I really appreciate all the help I can get to get new players to try my games! I'm including a screenshot fo the game on iPad in this post to give forum members a better idea of the look of the game. ...and here a better look at it on iPhone: David A Member Nov 7, 2019 11 4 3 Male #4 David A, Mar 16, 2020 There is a good amount of luck involved so there is badluck too, sadly... ...but you can restart as much times as you want and the game doesn't throw ads at you every 2 seconds like some other mobile games so it's not that bad to have to restart. There is still strategy involved because on many occasions you can "plan" your next move by choosing the right cards for your current move. I'm hoping the game will be popular enough to ad a second mode soon, wich will be "Challenges", each with their own special rules and leaderboards. So in those challenges there will be "lives" to have more than a second chance by example, or another one where even a single pair can save you every time. Thank you for you comment @vectorarchitekt and don't hesitate to give me more feedback later on, I'm looking to improve the game with future updates. vectorarchitekt Well-Known Member Dec 29, 2013 2,489 177 63 #5 vectorarchitekt, Mar 17, 2020 Thanks for the response, I’m happy if your game is getting some attention. You also responded to my App Store review which was nice of you More modes would always be great, I hope you can implement them! Cards, to be more specific. The rest is kinda meh with vibrant green background and blue in the beginning. Ability to switch between portrait and landscape smoothly is great. I don’t really understand the UX design. Everything important is accessible only during the gameplay. Game Center leaderboards or settings should definitely be on the main screen. I want to compare scores or check the achievements before or after I play, definitely not during. Restore purchases ditto. Gameplay is pretty straightforward. I‘m not sure if there’s enough room to strategize. I only have to options really. Either play it safe making a necessary minimum to progress and keeping cards for the next move OR to make the best hands possible for higher scores and risk losing with every next move. Not too much room in between. I’m not saying it’s a bad thing, but if I’m supposed to stay interested in a long run, I lack any form of progression. Different color palettes maybe? Collecting something? For occasional short sessions on an iPhone to kill some time while waiting in a line for a coffee or whatnot it’s definitely great though. David A likes this. You are completely right about the GameCenter and Settings that should be on the main screen (initial), I'm pretty new to game dev and my previous game didn't have a "main screen" (prior to the "gameplay" one), the game opened straight into the game. So I suppose I transposed this badly into my second game, wich didn't have a main screen either in my prototype. lol I'll change this in an update soon, it's just not that easy to be sure that everything stay loaded completely between the screen (i.e. the player is still considered logged into GC from one screen to the next one), it's pretty doable, but it's something that I have to think while implementing it. Thanks for the input about the progressing/collecting. I'll think about it, color palettes, backgrounds and maybe different cards colors/designs should be doable. And lastly, for strategy, I'll try to give more options to players in upcoming bonus (challenge) modes. The main mode will stay the same for now since many players worked hard for their place on the leaderboards. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
