Like the game. Can't beat any expert to save my life. Long wait for hearts if you don't want to spend money but it is f2p. Got luckily got nabbed mew on one try. Missed pichu tho. Will try again later.
You usually have to wait till you have a full team of Pokemon with the arrows next to them to tackle the expert levels to have a good chance of winning and catching the Pokemon. Never go back and try and get S level or try and catch the Pokemon unless you have the full team of the perfect Pokemon with the arrows next to them, you will just waist your hearts. The game is not weighted for spending any money it's skill and waiting for replenishment of hearts. It's a great game, this is a long way behind the DS game, but it will catch up in time.
Downloading as I enjoyed Pokémon Trozei on my DS back in the day. That has to be the worst App Store icon I've seen for a long time, though.
This is like a DS port from 3 or 4 years ago. Terrible menus. Terrible icon. It does that thing with the ellipse at the end of the title which makes apps look even uglier. It doesn't let you play your own music. All that being said, the game is actually pretty fun, so I guess I'll live with all that stuff.
This game is going to give endless content it will be updated every week. If it was a paid game this would not be the case. This is the state of games today, the best thing people can do is move with the times. There is no point fighting it, you are not going to win this battle.
Anyone know if this is the same game as the JP version, just with an English language setting? Like same app ID that can be updated whether your logged in to a US or JP account, transfer codes will work from US to JP (since its the same app), news/events are the same, etc. Alot of FTP games seem to have a JP version and then a separate Global version that is ran from a different server on a different build. Just want to be sure since they don't have the best track record of keeping up with other regions as far as events go, so if they are different ill just go with the on on the JP store.
Nope, I delete the game and move on with my money to other games that are fully paid or not going to nickel and dime me or make me constantly pay. The behavior needs to end. And until more people speak out it won't stop. So no. They won't get any money or ad revenue from me. And there are plenty of paid games that update regularly. So that's not true at all. You aren't guaranteed to have any updates from a free to play energy timer nickel and dime you game. Billy
I got Mew! Awesome. Grabbed it with a 25% catch rate on my 10th-ish try. For anyone who has played further, do these Pokemon we catch evolve as they level, or am I going to find a Charizard somewhere out there?
Being a Pokemon app, one would think they would evolve. Sadly only up to level 4 on my Pokemon and no evolve yet. I suspect people who have played on 3DS would know for sure!
Its a pretty cool little game, I like it! Puzzle & Dragon-ish, but leaning to match-3. Relaxing, cute lil game.. Edited to say : It is about time that the active (anti-ptp) whiners around here get with the times and smile a little bit.. We all get it, you don't like energy based games, timers, etc.. I personally enjoy these games; it allows me to think creatively and come up with ways to "work the system" while still playing ftp as long as I care to, until (or if) I decide to support the dev monetarily. I can tell you one thing.. I am new around here (was lurking for a few months before this), and I don't mind saying that you vocal anti-ptp-timer-based group are one of the biggest turn-off for me wanting to visit this site and forum. Take care..
It's fun, but I'm sure I'll get bored with it real fast. I'd much rather have a new version of Pokemon Pinball.
The Pokemon can level up to 10 then they are at max. To the people that are saying it pay to win or free to play it is not, everything can be gained just by playing when you have hearts. Don't use any gems to get hearts and never use coins to catch the Pokemon, these methods are just a waste of resources. I'm at the end of the 3DS version and waiting for the next update and I haven't spent any $$ so you can take my word for it.
I'm usually not a fan of match 3 but this is surprisingly pretty fun to me. I just play till I run out of hearts then onto something else. Lets see how many I can collect! =)
I'm so surprised how generous they are with the iap! Some games 40$ barly gives you anything but 40$ here and I could play forever without worry! (Not that I'm going to spend that lol) they can't be that greedy since they have a max amount you can spend too. Too bad I have to recatch lucario since I had the JP version before
