Given the absolute truck loads Pokemon has been selling on the DS, there was never any doubt it would appear on any other portable. Me personally, I've never really got into the whole Pokemon thing.

As long as Nintendo makes boatloads of money off their handheld systems, they will never, ever, ever, put their first-party games on other company's hardware.
Just because Sony isn't doing well doesn't mean they still compete with Nintendo and Microsoft. Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo are most definitely all competing for your money. Apple and Nintendo aren't but Microsoft and Apple are because they both sell MP3 players, computers, and I believe Microsoft is dipping its toes in the phone industry as well?
Sorry I didn't mean to say SONY wasn't competing, of course they are competing. What I meant to say is that the SONY and Nintendo rivalry has kind of faded. It seems that Microsoft is a much tougher competitor. On a side note why hasn't this topic moved to the lounge yet?
Yeah, well, unless Sony comes up with some revolutionary new idea, they're gonna get kicked out of the gaming industry. Their PSP is ancient, and the PS3 isn't selling at all. I don't see how Microsoft poses a threat to Nintendo, though.
i actually wouldnt mind a new pokemon snapshot or pokemon ranger for the iphone,.. nothing major like diamond/pearl/etc
It is just a fact that sarcasm easily gets lost in translation when only in words. I used sarcasm constantly in person, but am hesitant to use in forums due to the fear that it will get misinterpreted and cause an argument. Just my 2 cents.

If you want pokemon so badly em-u-late i have pretty much every pokemon game that's ever been released on my ipod anything else can be played on the ds or on the computer, if you are one for the fugitive lifestyle
Actually, nintendo doesnt compete with any of them. They make family games, family consoles, etc. Their demographic is completely different than Sony and MS. Sony and MS dont even consider nintendo a competitor, I believe they actually stated this in an interview.
