We changed the presentation of the navigation system (screen shot updated on page one). 2. We are working on making the dungeons look better.
I have been keeping an eye on this game for a while now and just applied to beta. The monster artwork in this game reminds me of monsters in Shin Megami Tensei, which is definitely a huge plus.
sorry guys, we had a little issue with our other game scheduled to release this week (adventure bar story). its been solved, and we are back on Dragon Island again. so the jobs we have to do before beta 1. finish populating the world (2-3 days) 2. Deciding monster stats for beta (2 days) 3. Putting Quests in (basic coding is done)(2 days). It would help a lot if you guys could give us some quest ideas. What kind of quests would you like to see in a pokemon style game? we have the basics covered, catch xxx, combine x and y, get xxx monster hunter license, beat this boss, reach floor xx on infinite dungeon, etc.
Save a princess in disguise as a peasant girl clad in pink armor from a fat, fire breathing dragon. A whole storyline there lul. Get granpa a monster to protect his crops, solve xx mystery, win a contest in which you show off your monster, and defeat bullies who are bullying your childhood friend.
Maybe a item quest where defeat a monster that you sometimes and have a 1 in 10 or 1 in 20 chance of it dropping the quest item.
Hey Everyone, thanks for the quest ideas!...and jokes. As for beta, we finally got it at a playable state, getting rid of crash bugs now so that testers can play through the game. We played through the game for the first time (without side quests), and its looking gooooood (obviously biased). I will pick the winners for the beta as soon as we take care of these bugs. Thanks for your patience, and I wont even give a time estimate since no one believes me at this point....
