Obviously you don't have to battle with those rules when you're battling with a friend or something who doesn't really care but for standard battles, you have to agree upon a set of rules so each match can be fair to both players. That's why they have different clauses like No OHKO clause.
It's not my competitive team, it's just for random match-up over wi-fi. But now I need to evolve my poliwhirl by trading it. Would anyone here trade it with me, than trade it back?

Grats! I've only caught one shiny in my entire time playing pokemon. It was a Nidoran male in safari zone on firered. I remember I almost ran away too that would have been bad.
I'm currently breeding a Timid Larvesta if anyone wants it. I got one with 31IV in special attack, speed and a 30IV in HP. If anyone wants, they can have this one after I use it as a parent It's defenses only have an Iv between 10-16 though and I really want something with bit higher defenses.
I totally lost when it comes to breeding, so I'd be super mega appreciative if someone could breed me a male Sigilyph with Magic Guard with this moveset: ~ Assist Power ~ Psycho Shift ~ Cosmic Power ~ Roost I don't really have anything to trade from White itself, but if you want something not 5th gen, I think I might have it (barring nature). I'll be willing to give almost anything if someone could some how obtain a speed boost female torchic. I've been searching for one for days on the GTS, but with little luck. I thought people would get one then breed it for many to trade for something ridiculous before it's out worldwide, but i guess not.
Has it been released yet in Japan? And I can't wait for Dream world to open. I know Nintendo said 30th of March but they delayed it after the EQ. EDIT: Apparently, it's rare since Japanese players had to buy a guide to the postgame to unlock Torchic...so yeah it's gonna be hard to find one on the gts.
GTS blows just as much as it did in Diamond/Pearl. No summary of the stats, moves or natures = absolute failure.

Oh yeah! I forgot I can finally participate in this tread, as I just got Black yesterday! Huzzah! But alas, I have only dumped 2 hours into the game so far. Play time is limited.
Conkeldurr or Throh? Right now I'm going with Conk-man, but Throh is also looking good as a defensive wall. This is for competitive btw. Any thoughts?
