Darn, good to know. Annoying bug right now though, I keep having to log in to google every single time I open the app. Super frustrating.

 

That's awesome! If you can turn the game into a fun family event that'd be pretty cool. Hopefully it doesn't turn into an IAP fest later on and making your kid want to spend lots of money.

 

Does this need mobile internet all the time, or you can turn 3g on, get the next pokemon location, and turn it off until you arrive there to catch it?

May I ask if my country was not available for Pokemon go, can I still play if I download it from other region? I heard there is a region locked and location enabled.

 

Walk around, around and around... Noting appears (pokemon, items, Pokestop....)...

 

I downloaded from the NZ store and can play fine in the UK

Anybody know if iOS version shares data with android version? Or are they separate in earnings and progress?

omg the power pack is fine but it essentially needs unlimited data plan from what you tell me. how many people can actually afford to play it like this?

 

If your devices is jailbroken then that is why. Start googling for a workaround.

 

I had to do a reboot of my iphone after installing the game. It stopped crashing after that.

 

According to my records I've used 28MB of data since I downloaded the app yesterday morning. I've never thought about data use as I've had a $10 unlimited data plan grandfathered onto my phone contract since the early 2000s, so I'm not sure if that's a lot...
