Nice one, that's what life's all about if playing a certain game gets you out more and gives enjoyment to you and the people you care about doing something you wouldn't normally do then it's great.

I have the same fear that I'll get bored of it in a few weeks as I'm playing by myself but we will see, my fiancée is always pestering me to go outside more.

Also to to those complaining it's not in your country yet, it's not in the UK either but I got it off the NZ store and it's buggy but working fine for me. The game is saved on an account sign in not in the app so it's safe to play this way.

Caught 2 Pokemon after the first default one on a short 10 min walk with my kids sandshrew and growlithe. We walked to a poke stop to see what it was and now I'm curious if you can even get anything in the store without paying cash for it. A lure module for use in the poke stop is $1 which isn't bad but can you obtain them free walking around? Same with the other items like pokeballs and incense.

I did get some pokeballs for capturing the Pokemon and leveling up but I feel like you should be able to find items "in the wild"

And has anyone figured out how to make your team? The buttons there but grayed out.

 

Mildly disappointed that the pokestop and gym locations seem pulled straight from ingress. Hopefully the core of the game is catching pokemon, and not visiting pokestops.

 

I didn't find any of my Pokemon at the pokestop so I think those are just optional ways to get more easier.

 

Pokemon website is down so I can't even register.

 

I enjoy this very much. I am so giddy right now. Get the high expectations out of the water and try the game our you guys. Me and my roommates walked around town looking for Pokemon it's enjoyable. 5 Stars.

It's interesting to see how this game and the community goes. The game is yet opening in my country but everyone and every digital newspapers are talking about this game. So excited!

 

The game seems a bit greedy to me since you cannot recover your pkm hp for free in this game like the nds or gba version. You have to use potion which recover 20 hp and is rare to spawn at pokestop

 

you do know niantic is the crew who made INGRESS right ? millions of humans already go outside and play that game. nobody ? lol
