Universal Pokémon GO (by Niantic, Inc.)

I hope the game is discret enough to allow me to catch pokemons on my workplace before people realize it. lol

Got this but it won't let me sign in with my google account it's saying there servers and having problems

 

I'm curious, does this require any sort of login? (ie: facebook) or can you create an in game account? Curious about multiple device syncing.

 

Wondering the same. Sounds like you need to use a Google or FB account?

Ewww, why is it only Gen 1 pokémon? I need my Typhlosion and Dewott.

 

Last hour or so the servers appear to be down. I got 5 or 6 captures in before that happened, though, and the game is fun-- walked around my neighborhood to explore some of the features. Good stuff, let's hope the server issues get worked out soon...

Servers are down for me, but before they were I saw such delights as a pokestop in the middle of a motorway onramp, and a gym in a pub. Hope theres some way I can flag bad locations.

 

I've had issues with catching and then the game freezing and also transferring and not getting a candy.

I by far prefer the AR method of catching rather than my camera it's more discreet I feel. Caught a few since I've been at work finally since I get none at home.

I'm not keen on the CP it just seems completely random, anyone know what a good CP is or does it vary by each Pokemon? It's hard to know if they are worth keeping or evolving so early on when I have no idea what a good CP is for basic Pokemon I catch

 

I doubt u played ingress! U will be surprised to see the people playing such game. Get your ass out for a walk u lazy bum

 

Catch pikachu then we talk I bet u can't in the beta most people I know can't catch it despite having unlimited pokeballs lol

I enjoyed this game a bit but didn't imagine I would play much after a week or two - until I got told my son about it, and we went out hunting. We walked 2.5 miles searching for Pokemon and caught three new breeds. The kid was rolling on the grass laughing and loving it.

So... Win?

 

What am I doing wrong? I used an incense and only encountered 1 wild Pokemon, does incense refill?

 

YES! Huge win.

 

Game is crashing for me. Cant seem to be able to solve this. Cant get past the loading screen.

 

Not out in Canada yet :/ I was planning to pass but I think I'll give this a try... Looks interesting based on the comments here.
