Ta is posting about the game because I don't know it's the biggest game in history of mobile and even people who don't play mobile games are playing it. No hidden motives no dumb stuff They cover it because they should Thanks TA and I must say as a long time Pokemon fan I didn't see this happening but I am glad Pokemon go and not candy crush is the definitive mobile game. Also looks good for the future of AR/VR products and games.
So I tried it while it was still in softlaunch but couldnt get into it. Now since its out worldwide everyone in my working place is playing it lol. Cant believe it. Well, they convinced me to join them and its a hella fun. Already caught a couple ones and am now sitting on my couch collecting pokestop stuff every couple minutes since the house I live in is a listed building. :'D Damn, the hype is real.
I know it pays the bills, but 18 posts about Pokemon Go in the last 3 days? That's a bit excessive. I enjoy TA but I think it's a tad over doing it. I'm sure SEO-wise, they'd appear fine with a bit less. It just lowers how they are perceived by actual gamers, it's a fine line, I know. I could of course be completely wrong and that is a tactic that has to be used to gain traffic and survive, if so, more Pokemon Go please! (not yet available in my country)
Someone told me that certain Pokemon prefer certain real world conditions (like large, grassy areas for Eevee). Has anyone else noticed this? (Also, the topic of TA posting behaviors should probably not be in the game thread and instead in the feedback forum, people want to talk about Pokemon here!)
That's what I've done before, but when I do it directly on my phone it wipes my playlists out for HOURS, it may be an iOS 10 blunder, and that's the joy of being on the bleeding edge. I may do it because good lord the stability in the middle of the day on the west coast is infuriating. I've missed no less than 4 pokestop items and countless pokemon. And the gym battles I did I almost certainly would have lost, but it was an exercise in futility - The lag was so great that it was a loss from the start unfortunately. Doesn't help that my pokemon were 1/6th as strong but still. If the new update(s?) are better, I might just risk doing it. I just hate having to toggle everything else back on - Ugh, I wish for updates it wouldn't matter and you could just update without logging out. It was never an issue prior to apple music.
That's correct - You need to be near water for water types, grass for grass types and so on. There are exceptions, of course, but that's the general rule.
I don't know. I am really trying to like this game but there are way too many moments of crashing and losing and wasting items I have used. I have had my GPS go down on me so many times since the first update. I have tried saving the offline maps on my google app and get out and reset my game so many times. It was fun for the first 30 minutes but they have really got to fix the stability of this game. I have the iPhone 6S and it don't seem to matter where I go ... Inside, outside, town, city, stores. Just too much trouble getting things to work right. I am exhausted with it...
TrencH I will agree on the catching a Pokemon then it crashing happens almost 40% of the time Sometimes I get to keep sometimes I don't That needs fixed for sure Overall i like it and with two kids it's fun to play it with them and also teach them Pokemon Actually having to explain to people now I would have never thought I would be
My trip from home to work is all in the same neighborhood, and we've got the same handful of Pokemon for the most part. A few randoms here and there, though.
Yeah, I am still struggling with it and reading up on it too. Have not given up on it yet but there was a few times I wanted to throw my favorite toy (iPhone) into a wall. I am not violent but this game was pressing serious buttons lol.
I get the pokeball crash a lot too! Decent day today though managed to find a Likitouge and Venomoth in work and then Hitmonlee and Tentacruel after work, along with other stuff I already have.
Hey Need some help Whenever i go to an arena and i press go it just freezes. Is that due to my slow mobile internet or is there any fix ? I already used my monthly highspeed internet data
Glad it's finally out in the UK - but I'm on the fence about this now. I have a really stingy data allowance on my contract, and have to work pretty hard to avoid breaching the limit. How data intensive are we talking here? Also, how much of a battery-drainer? Apologies if these questions have already been raised in this thread - but in my defence, it became relevant in the UK only in the past few hours.
It drinks battery for fun but I don't think it is to hard on data usage. I think there are some stats around which say roughly how much it uses.
Wow - ok... so I really do have to search not just in my work and home environments (both on a river) to find some variety! By extension, I'm assuming Eevee evolves are also affected; all three times I tried I got a Vaporeon.
