i saw a post in the trading thread. i have no idea whats a santa fe. see screenshot here: http://d.pr/i/3Xab
Thanks to the update making it a lot easier to buy crates, I am back to being perpetually starved for Bux. Good times.
Bug?? Started playing tonight and now a lot of my trains on the train list have minus fuel which means it's taking a long time to refuel the trains affected. Haven't noticed if this has happened before tonight. Tried the game on my iPad as well and it's exactly the same. Has anyone else had this? Have I got to delete the game and re-install?
Not really sure where to go from here. My network stretches from San Fran to Tokyo/Sendai, with hubs in St. Louis, Munich, and Beijing. Coins aren't a problem. Bux could flow in a bit faster, but I'm not complaining. I'm weary of adding other routes because I don't want to dilute my job pool, but this means I have more trains just sitting in my yard.
My train repair costs are getting ridiculous; has anyone been struggling more with broken trains since the update/recently? It's gotten to the point where I scrolled through all my 16 trains to send them out somewhere and a third, if not half, needed repairs - more than once a day. I don't know if multiple trains are breaking multiple times a day, but I feel like I'm getting the message way more often. I'm trying to expand my tracks and add new railroads, but instead all of those coins are going to repair costs. It's really frustrating, especially when they're my rarer/better trains and I don't want to waste a part repairing it. Also, out of curiosity, what do you guys think you get more: the 75 "bring these things to X" events or the 50 "take these things from X" events? Also recently (I could say before the update but I'm not sure) I started to see more of the latter when up until then I'd almost always had the "bring these to" events. Are there any plans to add more events? I'd like to see that - personally I'm only level 16 and only operating in Europe and Africa as of right now, but something like an event per continent/license (an Africa event, Asia event, etc), events that last longer than a day, events with more than one stop, events with more or less cargo to transport.. might make end game more interesting.
It was really weird....the first ten depots I checked had no jobs...and they were the closest to my event city. Then they started appearing, but definitely rarer than in previous events (I've completed every daily event since the beginning.) I do wonder about the radius in actual miles as opposed to just nearest cities being used to calculate probability of jobs appearing... My current event is in an African city with no cities close to it. PP sort of works the same way with global events, so I guess it shouldn't surprise me who wants global events in PT?!
Seems like more trains are breaking down more often? I am in Los Angeles. My lines are in Europe and one track to Africa for daily event. Tell me about your experience going over the water to the USA. Any help, suggestions, or warnings appreciated. Cheers, Wysky0 GC: Wysky0 ( that's a Zero)
One word, expensive. - Need 50k money to buy license - Need another 50k to create rail from Lisbon to New York - Need a train which have higher 360 fuel to cross the sea.
Me too! Thanks Nimblebit! Pumpkin Steamer Speed: 104 mph Base capacity: 13 cars Base Fuel: 700 Max engines: 1 Max fuelcars: 0 Resale price: 16,000 So it's basically a steamer on steroids.
Unknown Engine I opened pocket trains on my ipad and it said that nimblebit gave me an unknown engine. I checked my yard to see what I got and there is a space there and all it says is unknown engine. What do I do with it?
