Overall, I like the game. I do think there's room for improvement though, which will probably come in future updates, fingers crossed. 1. When cargo is loaded, let me see total profit and XP gained from making trip. 2. Let me know how much gas units are being used per trip, so I can plan more effectively. A bar across the top tells me nothing, essentially---just that I'm running low, but how low? 3. Get rid of these numerous breakdowns. I played all day yesterday, got at least 9 breakdowns. Today, I played two hours and already got 3. That's too much coin and I rarely have parts. 4. It's a little obnoxious to pay for the track, and then pay to claim the track as well. 5. Reduce the time that gas completely fills up tank from empty, or get rid of the gas thing completely. Sure we can use bux, or simply wait, but I just like to game without waiting around. 6. Add ways to change color of trains/customize. 7. Customize Bitizen train conductor if we can. 8. Add more rail line colors. That's my take so far.
I hope they fix this soon. Now that the weekend is over I can't continue on my iphone after playing on ipad all weekend.. Ugh.

I am in the same boat. My iphone is showing sync to icloud but I am not able to sync from icloud to ipad. This appears to be a problem throughout the iCloud system from various news reports.
iCloud may not be very stable, but the problem here is on Pocket Train's (NimbleBit's) end. Pocket Planes sync for examples works for me, as do all other iCloud features.
It's tough for me as I'm always very indecisive so I've just got a lot of cash all saved up and not expanding much as I can't decide how to layout my lines : (

Most of the Special trains seem are pretty good due to the high base stats. However the "Standard" train set (tier 3 trains) will eventually be better than them as these can be upgraded to have 3 engines and 2 fuel cars, giving them a carrying capacity of up to 24 and fuel capacity of 1800~. If you manage to get hold of a Special train at the beginning then it'll probably be your workhorse for quite a while, but eventually better trains will replace them.
I have trouble gifting, Can't send gift from 1JTY to 1F1R, not sure which one is the problem. Hey NimbleBit dev please help. I played legitimately. Also, both are Android actually.
