Trying to be Munich centered. Just need one more city to get the Monopoly Europe achievement. Then i will remove the lines to Athens and Bordeaux.
Athens is a chore. I had my daily event there today, it took forever to get the 50 outgoing parts. It wasn't worth the time nor the cost to open the line again. My special crate was a carbon streamer lol. I would say that the dead ends are usually to avoid. I will close Rome soon, as I'm now expanding to Asia via Baghdad and Teheran.
Each engine adds 50% capacity. I'm surprised you still don't know yet considering how you have so many trains.
Adding an additional engine adds half the base capacity. I.e for the express trains you'll have a capacity of 12 with 2 engines and 16 with 3.
