I can imagine though later in the game it getting a bit too much to manage. I wonder if things continue to run (like if you have a bunch of trains going to various destinations on jobs) when you leave it running in the background or go into standby mode? andysmash Well-Known Member Apr 6, 2011 2,067 1 0 #7 andysmash, Sep 25, 2013 Train size has nothing to do with routes in terms of restrictions. Trains have various classes that determine speed, cargo carry and fuel efficiency. You can put a 100 MPH bullet train between two cities that are very close together and have a ton of quick trips, or put that 100 MPH train on a long route and make multiple deliveries on one trip. The only restrictions that are really placed on your creation is that one train can occupy a route at a time, but that's actually a very good thing, and logical. Obviously you can't have two trains on one rail... slammajamma28 Well-Known Member Feb 1, 2013 729 1 18 Software Developer 'Murrica #8 slammajamma28, Sep 25, 2013 I accidentally deleted my Pocket Planes data when I had been going for quite a while. AshleyTheNeko Member Jun 10, 2013 14 0 0 #12 AshleyTheNeko, Sep 25, 2013 So far, all of Nimblebit's freemium models have been incredibly fair. You can certainly expect to be able to earn the premium currency at a reasonable rate by delivering certain train cars. C.Hannum Well-Known Member Feb 13, 2011 2,512 0 36 New York State #13 C.Hannum, Sep 25, 2013 As others have said, their freemium systems have been over the top favoring the player, with them explicitly stating that all balancing is done without any option to buy the premium currency; that's not added until launch. So, anything you need the secondary currency for are within your reach just by playing the game, and the one or two non-secondary currency IAPs they sometimes add are incredibly optional (e.g. the red gems in Nimble Quest or the baby proofing kit in Pocket Frogs - they're the sort of things if you're into the game enough to feel you need them, you shouldn't feel like you're being ripped off but rather are giving something back for the enjoyment you're having). ------ Like every game they've put out, I'll be downloading tonight to try it, just hope they've done something to differentiate it with Pocket Planes, that was mad fun for about a month but, like others have said, it just got to be too much micro management for the fun. Admittedly, that's what most of their games devolve to in the "end game", but Pocket Planes seemed to ding that point much sooner than Pocket Frogs or Tiny Tower. _Max_ Well-Known Member Apr 19, 2012 1,500 0 0 #14 _Max_, Sep 25, 2013 Instant buy, can't miss any game from nimblebit CalebHall1 Member Sep 3, 2013 13 0 1 Male #15 CalebHall1, Sep 25, 2013 This is special!
