My game froze at the updating game data screen too. It stuck there or half an hour and I can't get it.
Patience. Patience. Patience. Try quitting the application after 5 minutes and try to connect again. Do this again and again. Hope this helps. Anyway, nice UI. But they should change the pictures of the monsters..
Just keep trying and you will eventually get in. A bug fixed version coming within 7 days to speed up loading times plus they are adding some in game update feature afterwards like clan fights!
From ME: I turned off auto lock on my ipod, hooked it up to the charger, took a 10-minute shower, made 4 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, then brushed my teeth, and the screen on my ipod still said "Updating Game Data." Many other players still have this issue. It is not going well for the community if they cannot even experience the newest update put out. From Riida: Hi Shane, Sorry to hear that. It seems that multiple people on the Touch Arcade forums are experiencing the same issue. I left my ipod on overnight for 5 hours and when I woke up, the game still said Updating Game Data. When I went to work, I turned on my ipod 3 hours later and the game finally booted up. However, my brother (level 55 in-game) has a case. He got the new update as soon as it came out, and he played for 13 hours and then all of a sudden he had the same problem I experienced first. Now he is raging because his VIP is going to waste. The issue is hurting many players who are still under premium VIP pass, like my brother. On the Palringo chat, many more users are also experiencing this issue. Not only that, but some experience crashing upon App launch and redownloading the app will not solve the issue. It is definitely not an issue with iPods/iPhones/iPads or what firmware is being used. Many people on different versions of iProducts and firmwares report the same result. Hoping to get the new update soon. Thank you for your work. LOL
Tried countless times of restarting and even left it overnight to update but still couldn't get it done. Can only wait for the next update
Hi everybody , the update is working , i restarded app 3 or 4 times before it works but it took like 30 min to go. but i dont see anything that changed , unless the guards organisation and an announce that clan soon ll be up by an in game event later. Someone's got better information on the update ? plz forgive my bad english i'm french , should put that in my signature.
only update ive noticed is the gold coins and user interface (UI) and the messages can show players profile
You can buy the instant refill or the cash for gold coins instead of real money. My Pocket Summoner app won't work now, so I cant screenshot for u. Maybe later on down the road we can buy event guards with gold coins.
And the gold coins cost less for the instant refill and money than before cause the pricing was unbalanced. It 33 cents for instant refill instead of $1 at the worst price now so its better
